The Mirror World

There are legends… a ton of legends that aren’t true… but in the town of Fairview Pennsylvania … one very horrifying legend is real. Yet no one knows it. The legend goes like this. Once there was a girl by the name of Mary one day she got very sick and went into a comatose state. Since this was before the many Medical advances we have today… they thought she was dead and had a funeral for her. Her parents buried her in a casket with a mirror where the face was. Back then a bell would be attached to a string and the bell would be above ground so in case the person in question was alive, they could ring the bell. Unfortunately Mary did wake up and looked around not knowing where she was. She quickly pieced it together and tried to ring the bell but the string was stuck somewhere along the line and didn’t ring. She screamed and clawed at the coffin. Up above the surface Mary’s mother could of swore she heard a scream. But it took the mother weeks to get them to dig up the coffin. To everyone’s horror Mary’s fingernails were bent back and her fingers were bloody the words ‘Why didn’t you save me’ were written in blood on the mirror. Now the town was cursed by the spirit of this little girl, and anyone who said 'bloody mary' three times in front of a mirror would be killed or scratched or disappear without a trace... This is the legend of bloody mary.

Although that's not the true story in reality anyone who calls upon Mary will be dragged into a world, a world that Mirrors our own. It is called the Mirror world and it is a very Dangerous place. Although people sent there get special powers and a weapon.

Bio: Juliet goes to school and is very shy even to her small group of friends. She doesn't talk and if she does its rare. For teachers she goes up and writes what she would say on the board. She has long blonde hair and light blue eyes that are captivating to some. She wears blue dressed that compliment her pale skin and wears bows in her hair.

Bio: Velvet is a smart girl with a twisted imagination. Whats fun to her might be death defying to someone else.
She has light brown-amber eyes and blood red hair. she often wears a hoodie to avoid showing her features.

Bio: Geode is new in town. He use to live in a small town called Decatur down in Illinois, until one day his great aunt passed away and his parents inherited a house in Fairview, Pennsylvania. He has never heard the legend of Bloody Mary, and he has yet to go to school in town.

Bio: Rai has startling red hair and sharp green eyes that pierce through some people. He is smart and reliable but at times can have very little confidence in his abilities, but when it comes to the people he loves, he does his best to overcome that

Bio: Kyle loves adventure and often seeks out new thrills, but knows when enough is enough and it's time to stop. He doesn't scare easily and is quite athletic

Geode watched out the window as his mother drove into the town a Fairview, how did he know it was Fairview? There was a sign right there that said 'Welcome to Fairview!'. He sighed, it show enthusiasm he did not have about moving here, he wanted to stay in his hometown of Bloomington, Illinois but financial issues drove him to Decatur, Illinois and then to Fairview, Pennsylvania. He hated the problems that put him here in this state the only up side he could think of is that he would never have to move until he went to college, if he went to college.
"Dont look so down geode" His mother said to him, his mother was a person who was great at comforting people, and for some reason Geode was the exact opposite of her. She could make the best out of a situation while he couldn't and sometimes her positivity just plain out bothered him. The car pulled into the driveway of the house his Mother now owned.
"Ill look down if i want you" he said getting out of the car and walking into the house.

It rained a bit over her head as she walked out of the mall carrying bags of clothes and bows. She loved bows, all colors, mainly blue and black as they went with her dresses. She looked both ways as cars ran in and out like christmas eve traffic-completely horrid. She sighed at the sight taking small step by small step. A car drove past her landing in a puddle and got the bottom of her dress wet. *Just like every sunday.* She thought and walked across the parking lot to a boy with blueish black hair wearing some unusual gothic clothing. "God sis take forever why don't ya?" She shrugged and he opened the trunk allowing her to put the bags in. "We need to get home I'm missing Big time rush its on!" The boy shouted at his sister as he raced to the car door. She didn't care too much and walked into the passenger's seat and got ready for them to leave.

She sat at the bus stop waiting and watching it rain as well. The bus was late as usual. It took anywhere from 10-20 minutes for it to come normally and when in rain it took longer. She pulled her hood over her and looked around as her red hair curled out from under it. Her hoodie soaked and her breathe was shown in the air infront of her.
"Man its freezing! God bus just come!" She was eager to get hom and sighed every moment more she had to wait. A wase of time going to Meghan's house last night and staying over, she thought. Complete waste.

Ah the rain. There was something mysterious, yet strangely refreshing about it. The boy with the sharp green eyes and the strange red hair was walking through it to get home. He passed the bus stop, catching a glimpse of a girl with hair that was red like his. It was rare for such a colour but he had grown to like it. Eventually he reached his detatched house and went inside and was instantly hit by it's warmth. Stripping down to just his t-shirt, he went straight to the table where his mother and father were waiting with a nice bowl of soup


As he sat in the car being driven home, a multitude of thoughts ran through his head. Mostly how much he hated his mother driving at a dull 20 when he would be doing a much less dull 60, even if the limit was 30. As they turned the corner and parked in the driveway, he headed inside as quickly as he could. He sat at his desk and opened his laptop. A new afternoon meant another day of thrillseeking, especially as the next day he would be at family and not be able to do anything but sit through a dull meal and watch a dull t.v program and a listen to dull people

Geode looked around, he had been at this house before when he was 7. There were two bedrooms upstairs, 3 down stairs and a room in the basement with a drum set and two electric guitars. As his mother walk in he slid down the railing to the basement and plugged his Ipod into a speaker system and sat on the drums holding a remote to his ipod. This was his favorite part of the house, the ability to get lost in the beat of music. He clicked play on his remote and his playlist began and he lost himself in the beat and played.

The boy drove them home and ran inside leaving his sister to open the trunk and get her stuff herself.
She walked into her house and put everything away then walked outside and sat on the swingset outside her house.
She gazed up and the rain dropped on her face making her smile lightly. She swung back and forth dreaming of the day she'd watch it rain forever. It made her happy seeing this, no jacket, no protection of her safety, no sound but that of the rain. Everything is perfect in her own little world.

The bus decided to not come so she got up and walked down the street. Calmly walking home she looked at the time. It was dinner time for her. Her parents would be worried that she would miss it.
She groaned and walked farther. She pulled a black ipod out of her pocket and listened to a mix of music. Mostly rock. She finally made it home after a few hours.

Sadly there was little to do when stuck inside because of the rain, so the boy had to stick to playing Okami on his Wii. He had a stack of unfinished Wii games to play yet he chose to complete Okami again for the umteenth time because it was his favourite. Eventually his parents called him for dinner which he quickly ate and went straight back to playing video games, occasionally glancing outside, wishing the rain would cease so he could go do something more fun, like skateboard


After finishing his meal and taking care of the little work he had, the boy laid on his bed for a while, losing himself in his thoughts. He pulled up his computer and started drawing on paint. He had seen a friend of his do some amazing work on it and he had always strived to get better, so with the option of being outside out of the question, now seemed a good a time as any to practice such a thing, though the picture would likely be as gloomy as the weather was

Geode opened his eyes at the abrupt stop to his musical retreat to see his mom turning off his Ipod "YOu better turn that back on" he said a bit angry
"No can do hun we have to unpack then you have to go meet kids in the neighboorhood"
"Its raining you expecting me to go out in that?"
"Water wont make you melt Geode now come help me unpack."
Geode groaned and went upstairs with her to the maze of boxes in the living room unpacking was going to take forever at least an hour of his precious music playing time.

She looked at the flowers, nice and freshly dewed, some drowning in their thrist.
The rain continued for a while above her head, she slowly made a small smile as her troubles lifted away. She watched as a small puddle near her reflected the cloudy sky. Beautiful day for a rain shower, perfect weather.
Too shy to talk to even her friends, she kind of didn't want to talk at all. She was afraid her voice was too boring for others to hear and she lived her whole life without speaking. No one really heard her voice. Major mystery.

She began skipping her way. The wind whipped her hoodie down getting her mad. She growled and pulled it back over holding it in place. She liked the weather just not the wind. Wind is her enemy. She carefully watched the kids across the street splash in puddles outside their cosy houses. She wished to be home as she was 3 miles away. Long, tiring, but possible.

Eventually giving into his boredom, Kyle laid there doing nothing for a while. He looked at the guitar in the corner of the room. His dad had got it for him for his 13th birthday and he had mastered it in 6 months, so it was yet another boring thing, no challenge any more, but it was something to do. He picked it up and began playing one of his favourite songs, despite how slightly depressing it was, and the soft, melodious tune began to fill the house


After spending an hour on what ended up being just random shapes and the such like, Rai gave up, his confidence in his artistic talent wavering. He had never been that good at art or design work, but when it came to Maths or English, he was a lot more skilled, and a had a flare for Psychology. He picked up a book he had been reading and continued it

After like two hours of unpacking and putting away, Geode was kicked out of the house into the rain by his mother who said to him "Make friends!" then shut the door and locked it. Geode sighed. Not how i wanted to spend my first day here, he thought, making friends that i don't want... He started walking down the street seeing if anyone was outside in the rain like he was. He looked up at the sky. "Great..." he sighed the rain didnt seem to show signs of lightening up. It was going to be a long day.

The swing creaked with each move. The rain fell harder and Juliet was soon watching everyone walk by her house.
Strange, no matter what, she didn't hear footsteps. Being in your own world is good, she thought. It makes the outside inferior. She watched a girl who struggled keeping her hood on her then let her gaze fall to Geode who she saw across the street. She realized she never saw him before, but the girl she knew, that was her friend Velvet. It was strange how they became friends, they were stuck in a group together and eventually Velvet was able to read Juliet without her speaking a word. Perfect friends, she didn't need to speak at all.

"Oh fine Kyle, go out and play in the rain" his mother said after the 56th time Kyle said he was bored to her
He put on his favourite jumper and snuck out before he was told to take a rain coat and began walking along the street, eventually finding himself passing Juliet. He glanced briefly at her, recognising her vaguely as 'that girl who doesn't say anything' and kept walking with his naturally fast pace

Geode sighed again sitting on a bench he noticed a girl struggling to keep her hood and and thought that it might not be a good idea to introduce himself to her as she looked like she was having a day. Then he saw the girl swinging when she looked at him. Why was she out with out a coat? He kept watching her. Without a coat? He had to know so he waited for traffic to pass then crossed the water covered street. He stopped to think about whether or not he should introduce himself but then decided he would. He walked up to the girl noticing for the first time her stunning blue eyes. "Hello..." He said "Im Geode." He kept thinking maybe if he made her as a friend he could get inside and stay dry for the night.

Juliet watched as he made his way over. Velvet had stopped walking seeing him too. *New kid?* She thought. *Don't get too many of them.* Her hood blew off again and she groaned. "Oh well." She watched Geode walk across the street and saw him walk to Juliet. She smiled and ran up to them. "Hey guys, whatcha doing?" She asked Geode. *Strange boy...yeah hes definitely new.*
Juliet watched with her head tipped a bit kind of confused at Velvet's sudden running up.

Geode looked at Velvet seeing her out of the corner of his eye. Seeing as she didnt know him and he didnt know her the question took him a bit off guard. "I was introducing myself to her" Geode said pointing to Juliet "And i was going to ask why shes out with out a jacket in this downpour." He held out his hand to Velvet "By the way I'm Geode, the new kid in town."

Kyle walked past Velvet, narrowly missing hitting her from not watching where he was going. He kept walking for a while before stopping and turning around, remembering he had to be home soon. Even if he had been allowed out in the rain, it was never for very long. He began walking back and soon Geode, Juliet and Velevet came into his view again

Velvet laughed and shook his hand. "Oh you are new." She roughed up Geode's hair like he was a little kid. "This girl doesn't talk and she adores the rain." She pointed to Juliet. "Her names Juliet." Juliet waved and smiled a bit. She was happy to see a new face but upset that she couldn't pull their voices away and in result she had to escape her own world.
"She's pretty harmless." Velvet said watching Juliet wave to him. "But I'd watch out, some girls not like us are viciousss!"

"Don't listen to her" Kyle said appearing beside Velvet
"Velvet here is very viscous. Remember yesterday in Maths class? You asked me what 2+2 is and when I said four you hit me and said it was 5, then ripped up my paper when I disagreed with you. Pretty viscoius if you ask me!" he said jokingly
Kyle looked at Geode
"Hi there, I'm Kyle"

Geode waved at juliet then looked at Velvet "She dont talk much? I seeee" Geode smiled a bit "Well ithink that i could be a great friend to her" He laughed a bit at Kyle coming up and saying that. "She dont look vicious. Im Geode nice to meet you Kyle. You guys go to the same school?" He asked because he would need friends in this new school he didnt want to be alone
