Salem Town

Back in the 2nd Century, Vampires seemed to rule the lands. They fed off of human flesh. They drank human blood and hurt anyone that wasn’t of their family. However…..many…many years have passed. We live in the modern world now. A world full of these tales….

Vampires live forever. No one is sure how exactly…or why. However between the hard years, Humans had the upper hand and had killed some of the vampires around. By the time it reached the world we know……no vampires are said to be left.
But there may just be a few left….Not sure.

However Vampires, they could bite or run fast whenever they wanted….but Vampires that had powers, which was most of them, had to make a payment. A lot of times, the payment would be to drink the pure blood of a Unicorn. Unicorns are almost as died out as the Vampires. There is little of them around but sometimes they are found dead in the woods or forests near by. Unicorns are scared to our town…they are the protectors of it.

We live in Salem, a play full of myths and wonder. Mythologists, people who are in love with myths and still believe Vampires are around, protect the Unicorns by preserves or just keeping them hidden in the wild. Everyone else had moved on….
Going to school, walking home….
It’s a drag but we are humans after all. We do what we have to, to get by.
We live here in Salem, a lovely, happy town…colorful and full of life, but there are places that….aren’t so uplifting…Vampires and Unicorns are said to be there as well….

It’s the most dangerous place known…but it connects the town together.

They say that deep in these forests are where the Vampires….used to hide. Old abandoned mansions owned by them are still there and some are foolish enough to go there.

A lot of the Vampires who were killed and the victims they killed are said to be buried there….

Bio: Ray is a shy but friendly girl. She is into the gothic Lolita style and often wears a big black and pink headband, black dress, and black stockings and shoes. She has a smiling personality and is rarely upset. She carries around a little push black skeleton dog named Safety Pin. She also wears Lolita gloves. Ray goes to the school by the graveyard. She is often ridiculed there because of what she wears. She goes to the graveyard to get away from the pressure.

Bio: When Ariana was coming home one day from school she took the way through the dead forest. She was bitten there by a vampire and turned into one. She in human years is about the age she is now. She has long red hair, either in a ponytail or in pigtails. She loves to wear gothic Lolita style dresses and accessories and shoes. Her payment to use her powers, which she rarely does, is to drink the blood of a unicorn. She however loves unicorns and partly refuses but sometimes has to do it anyway.

Bio: Juliet is much like Ray, shes into the gothic Lolita style. Her hair is a pure light blonde and her eyes a sea blue. She likes to wear ribbons with her Lolita dress and shoes. Juliet is a Mythologist. She loves Unicorns and even Vampires, she wants to help both sides but she has a fear of seeing the ‘real’ thing and would freeze where she stood if faced with the ‘real’ thing. Her older brother Dason went missing a while ago and she wishes to find him as well.

Bio: Dason was attacked and turned into a vampire. In fear of hurting his sister, Juliet, he ran away and was dedicated to only drinking blood of unicorns. He watches his sister to make sure shes ok and each day a stronger want for her blood grows in him.

Bio:Geode is a very.... different vampire. He tends to have two sides to himself. One represents all thats pure in him and the second represents his other side- bloodlust. He also use to be human. As a human he lived in Salem and wore clothes that had chains on them and was very popular around there, he did community service, he was a straight A student and was less than a year away from being Valedictorian of the high school, he was in the local paper a couple times for his achievements. and he was one of the best vampire killers but no one knew that last part. All the people knew is that at the peak of his Senior year he disappeared. He was turned into a vampire by a vampire named Necro. Geode had tried to hold back the blood lust but couldn't and he ended up killing his sisters, Bailey and Lumina and his father and mother, John and Crystal. The only Family member alive was his twin brother Elijah and that's because Eli wasn't there when he lost control. Very often he is standing over the graves of his family. His price to pay for using his power is that unless he sucks a human dry or drinks a sip of unicorns blood his chains will dig into him causing immense pain and eventually death.

Bio:Elijah came home one day after staying out with his friends to see his family dead and his brother missing. When he looked closely at his family's neck he saw bite marks and thought about myths, he knew immediately that it was a vampire who had killed his family and supposedly kidnapped his brother. Now he dedicates his life to hunt down that one vampire and kill it, Then kill the rest of the Vampires.

Bio: Rai was originally from Japan and had trained himself in the ways of the Samurai and is an expert with a Katana. He and his sister Jenna immigrated to Salem and settled, but 3 months after they moved Jenna was murdered by a female vampire and Rai swore revenge. He spent the next 3 months retraining himself with his Katana so he could defend himself and is determined to find his sister's killer

He also met an befriended a Unicorn who he takes care of and keeps safe

Bio: A calm and cool Vampire, he rarely loses his cool. He was turned into a Vampire 28 years ago when he was 21, but maintains his appearance. His price for using his powers is he starts to age to his real age unless he drinks some Unicorn blood which will reverse the effect and make him look 21 again

Liviana sighed and paced around the school. She went to her locker and got her books. Her long black hair flowed over her shoulders ontop of her nice dress.
She looked around at the clock. "Looks like its time.." She went into one of the class and sat near the middle of the classroom and stared outside thinking in her head.

Ray skipped school and stayed near the graveyard. *I'm always a freak to everyone so why bother...* She thought to herself as she sat by her brother's grave. "I miss you Corey.." She looked down and placed a flower on the ground and a rock on the tombstone to show she was there. "Wish you were here.."

Juliet and Ariana walked in the halls of the school. "I don't feel well today.." Juliet said as her she put her hair back into pigtails. "Why?" Ariana asked, her fangs being pretty hidden. "Dason.."
"Juliet that happened long ago..." "I know.." Juliet said, she gave a note to her teacher and left the school. She waved bye to Ariana and walked around Salem Town.

Elijah was sitting outside the school with his usual clothes on over coat belt like things on his arms and black pants. He watched Juliet leave the school and followed her "Hey" he said once he caught up


George snuck out of first hour and went to teh graveyard to mess around with a sword he had found one day. Then he saw Ray at a grave. *Should i ask her whats up or leave her alone...*

Ray sighed and got up, her face fresh with tear stains. She wiped them off and looked around. She saw George for a second and it only made her think of Corey.

Juliet turned around and saw Elijah. "Yeah is something wrong?" She put the books she was holding into her back pack and fixed her dress a bit.

George looked at her for a minute. He decided to go over and ask what was wrong, as he came over though he noticed a person standing on a tree top and looked at the person for a split second before it disappeared. "Hey whats wrong?" he asked RAy


Elijah looked up and down at her dress "Nice dress" he said then looked back at her "I was just wondering why you are skipping school thats all"

Ray looked at George. She moved her hair back and fixed her headband.
"I.....was just visiting my brother.." She pointed back at the grave that she laid the flower on.

Juliet made a small smile. "Thank you. Its my favorite Dress..." She looked at him for a second. "Wait, shouldn't you be in school?"

Rai stood at the foot of a grave holding a bouquet of flowers. He laid them down on the grave in front of him then bowed his head in silence for a minute. He looked up and took a deep breath
"Happy birthday Jenna..."
He couldn't help but gaze around and notice the other graves, scanning the tombstones reading the names 'Bailey' and 'Lumina' as he did


Laguna sat in his classroom and sighed. Another day, another set of marking to do. He looked up and saw the only student in the classroom at the moment. Liviana was her name. She was a good student when she payed attention, but he couldn't help thinking she carried some sort of secret...

(Corey is also dead...so yeah...don't leave him outXD)

Liviana stared outside not paying attention to Laguna. She watched the rain hit the window and only thought of how she'd get home in 3 hours. Liviana sighed and got up, she went to the window and looked out it. She looked at her own reflection and fixed her hair.
"Mr. Loire....how long is it supposed to rain?"

Ariana passed her locker and went into class. She noticed Liviana and Laguna but sat in her seat until class was supposed to start.

Laguna had been staring at her he almost hadn't her her speak
"The weather channel this morning said until 9pm tonight. Why? Is there somewhere you need to be that can only be gotten to if there isn't any rain?"


Rai started to walk past the graves towards the exit noticing another grave for someone named Corey and someone named....'Safety Pin'? He did a double take on that last one and sped up to the exit and headed back to school

Liviana looked over at him. "No...its just i don't have a ride home and i rather not get my new dress ruined by rain. Maybe i can take the bus." She looked over at Ariana.
"Hey Ari do you have your bus pass?"
"No sorry Livi i didn't get it for this week...."
"Oh how about a token?"
"No...." Liviana sighed as Ariana said that. "So how do you get home then?"
"I walk.."
"Oh.."

Laguna was too absorbed in his own thoughts to be paying attention to what they were saying. He kept thinking about his ecounter with a rather nasty vampire who wanted to turn him into one so they could 'spend eternity doing it'. Of course she used rougher language, but all the same the thought hardly attracted him...


Rai sped back to school and quickly headed to his locker ignoring the rain that coated his clothes and then headed to class

Liviana shrugged and sat down staring out the window. She looked over at the window and took out her phone and texted her brother to see if she could get a ride home.

Ariana saw Rai head into class and looked around. "Everyones late....might as well go on without them...." she got her books on ehr desk and started jotting down some random things she had to do after school.

Rai slumped in his chair at the back of class as usual and mumbled incoherently in Japanese and started doodling as he waited for class to begin


Laguna leaned back in his chair and waited for the rest of the students to file in

Ariana watched as the students came in. She made plans in her book for later. She thought about either going to the graveyard or dark forest but couldn't make up her mind.

Liviana watched Laguna for a bit then looked outside and watched the rain as it fell.
She took out her book. "I don't mind the teachers here....but the classes are boring."

Elijah smiled a bit then looked back at the school when she said that "Nope" he said. He wasnt going to tell her he has skipped school ever since the death of his family


George looked at the grave for a moment before looking back at Ray "Oh i see..." He looked around and saw a man with alot of chains around him and a cloak standing over four graves and looking down at them "Whos that guy?" George asked Ray

Ray turned and looked at the figure. "Beats me, i don't usually look at the people here." She looked at George. "You know you have to put rocks on tombstones, the dead realize you were here that way."

"I see..." Juliet said. "I'm just a bit sick today...i never should have got out of bed this morning but i did anyway." She looked at his clothing. "You have a unique style by the way, its nice to see that in people."

George looked at the figure for a minute before looking back at Ray "REally? I never knew that" he laughed a bit and scratched the back of his head



Elijah looked at His clothes "THanks, My brother, when he was around, went through a ton of styles and i took attributes from one and put it into this outfit with teh attributes of others"

"It loos nice." Juliet said sort of admiring it. She touched his sleeve lightly. "I like it." She stopped and looked at him. "I'm sorry....your Elijah right?"

Ray nodded a bit and put her black-red blood polished nails into her bag. She pulled out a skull looking black dog. She held him in her arms and he complimented her dress perfectly.

Rai peered over Ariana's shoulder
"Whaaaaaaaatcha doing?"


Laguna taught an exceptionally non-boring class

Ariana growled a bit and showed her fangs for a sec. She pushed her book shut and picked it up as she heard the bell. "Time for me to go.."
She left and went to her locker.

Liviana sighed. "End of school." She got out of her seat, packed up her stuff and put it in her bag. She walked up to Laguna. "Mr. Loire...do you have a token i can borrow?"

"A token? You mean for the bus?"
The opened a drawer and rifled through it


Rai's eyed widened a bit
"Did I...just see....fangs? No....that's impossible...she couldn't be...."
He spoke in Japanese so no one could understand him
