A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Empty
PostSubject: A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black   A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Icon_minitimeSun Mar 13, 2011 2:50 pm

Wind blew silently across the hills, across the streets and people. Cherry blossoms grew on branches of trees and danced around as the wind picked them off one by one. They were white cherry blossoms, a rare color. The usual pink must of slipped the trees mind as it grew and in desperate measures white came out on top. Beautiful colors. The sky was an abnormal color this rare morning. Pink along the horizon gradient with yellow, greens and a swirl blue on the top. The clouds tried to hide the sun from being seen, its gray bottoms and white fluffy tops only surrendered us all to the darkness for a little while. The light rays from the sun overcame the clouds and surrounded us all with warmth.
We live in an nice city filled with street lights and live people who go to school and have jobs. On one corner of the street is the Ningen Odoru, a local many people go to just to get away. Ningen means human and Odoru means dance. In the morning, it’s a bar, at night it becomes a masquerade of colors and lights all dancing around. Inside the DJ picks the loudest music and it sends itself into our ears almost menacingly to kill our drums but make us move with the beat. He doesn’t go there, but he enjoys hearing the music that flows out at night.
Besides the bar we have many other forms of entertainment here for everyone to enjoy. A smoothing rush of water crashes to the side along the sand, and people play an run around in short outfits just to get wet. Seashells cover the ground and seagulls come from all over to steal your food. It is quite calming the beach, it sets your mind straight and helps you remember the past and even think of the future. At twilight it’s the best time, the sun leaving a bit of light as it no longer shows itself, the darkness of the blue sky come toward you with tiny little balls of light that glitter and dance around for no one but themselves. They are not perfect, they are like us humans, flawed and unpredictable. They have no sense of where to go or what to do, but they light the way for us all.
He lives in a small mansion by the beach, its his father’s mansion to be exact. Its not perfect but its nice and big and comfortable to live in. He likes to escape the horrors of life and just sit by the beach alone on the dry hot sand and let the water rush away with his fears and worries. It’s the best thing a boy around his age can do. “Why do you go to the beach so much?” His father would ask as he took his shoes and socks off and began to walk barefoot to the door each day. I don’t think he understood. As the boy gave his answer, the father would wave his hand back telling him he can leave if he gets back by dinner time. It was a special time in their house, they eat a small buffet that hit’s the corners of the table and is served by their butlers. The boy, his young sister and his father would all sit and talk, its usually about their days or what’s happening locally that was on the news or in our daily papers.
“Hamura is such a quiet little city though.” The sister Miranda would say if their father or the boy brought up a recent tragedy that could have been avoided. “I don’t see the reason for that.” Then she would stop talking and start eating her dinner and thinking of how school was that day.
School, one of the least favorable places here in Hamura Tokyo. It would drag on long and out and felt as if it would never end. He goes to Seihou Gakuenn, its sometimes hard to spell or say for new teachers or students and it ends up being called ‘Sei-enn”. That seems to be the easiest nickname they had ever had for it and that is the reason why its used by newcomers to Tokyo. Seihou Gakuenn is one of the best schools on market, it has the highest grade point average than any school and most of the students here are friendly. The girls wear little blue skirts and a white button up blouse with a small blue tie. The boys are pretty similar in colors. They wear either blue pants or shorts, although some boys see shorts as being gay so they wear pants mainly, and white button shirts with a loose blue tie.
However that is enough about the school and its wears for now, let me get onto the bases of the Vocke family. The younger sister, Miranda, is 16, she used to have very darling light brown hair but dyed it a lavender as that is her favorite color. Their father highly disapproved saying that her natural beauty is what is best and not a new formed chemical beauty. Her eyes are dimmed amber and look like there is even some blue and green. Almost rainbow eyes. When they were younger, their father would take them both out shopping and if Miranda ever ran off or got lost the father would scream: “Oh Rainbow eyes!” and with a hearty skip and dash the sister would be by her father’s side again. The father is a gentle creature. He loves children that see honor and purpose in their lives. He is a bit of a young elder man, his hair is black slightly turning gray at the peak and he has kind green eyes which was passed onto the boy and his sister. The boy is a bit different than both of them. Strong willed and very protective of his family and friends. The boy’s hair, it looks gothic a bit, a black gothic hair style, it’s a bit long and sometimes goes in front of his eyes but he seems to like his hair nonetheless. His eyes are strange though, the poor boy will be called a freak for it. They are jade green but on the rims is a small sea of red blood in a thin circle surrounding the lightest jade in his eyes. He likes it despite what everyone may say, Miranda likes it too and the father believes it’s just a creative side of him. The boy just turned 17 last month and now work at their father’s shop. The father actually owns a wide variety of book and manga stores on the street and in the malls, but the first one he ever owned is the one his son works in. Their father is the richest person in their family and gives the boy and his sister everything they need or want. He hopes that one day the boy will follow in his footsteps and take over all ownership and become famous and wealthy like him, but that is only a shop owner’s dream.
Let me talk about the house. It’s a small little mansion with a gloomy blue roof and gray white painted bricks. Its about the size of a normal house, about two stories. At the top though, the boy’s bedroom lays and there is dainty set of sliding doors. They open up to a balcony that can overlook the sea one way and the city the other. Its quite a calming scene to him and he enjoys staying in his room most of the day. Inside the house are many rooms, about 6 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, a living room, a few main rooms and a dinning room, all set with their own distinct furniture and accessories. Gold lines the house along with some priceless statues and vases, mostly the mansion contains red carpeting from wall to wall making it a more Victorian mansion than just a old home which is what the family thinks of it.
That house is one of the many outgoing things in this city. It seems to be more of a landmark for others. Where is the beach? Just look for a big mansion with a blue roof and there you are my friend. Big and outstanding. Some of this city cannot compare to its dark beauty.
The mansion isn’t the only thing dark in Hamura, a good amount of places seem dark and depressing or just downright evil. There is a church by the corner of Kyoto and Kansai, it looks run down and completely immobile from the outside. However there is that type of rainy diluted day where the whole ground is soaked to where the street becomes a black color and the rain flows freely in centimeters on the street, back and forth, in a swift constant motion. This may cause you to want to run for cover and you will most likely end up walking into that dinky old church to find warmth to until the storm passes or lessens. On the sides of the church graffiti and vines going all over lay sadly killing the only beauty it may have had left. It isn’t too abandoned really, the poor little church. You will sometimes see people go in there for solitude or to pray without having to be surrounded by sinners and preachers, it’s a quiet little place to relax for awhile. The furniture in the church is old and sometimes very frightening, the statue of Mary is breaking at the bottom first and soon it may fall and shatter in the presence of a prayer. The other statues have darkened and stain glass windows are cracked in the center throughout and are breaking at the slightest touch of wind. The brass handles on the door are slowly changing color and dying out and the church itself seems to be collapsing. One fateful day it might and may we all pray that no one is inside those ruins.
There seems to be a fairy tale on this church, being widely notorious, underneath the once beauty it had lies a dungeon of evil and it reeks of death and despair and you could swear you hear the ghosts of the dead moaning to be free and heard finally. Under the dainty clothed once white now yellow alter lies the secret of the dead, people were taken down and experimented on without end, the only way you became free is if you had died while the experiment was taking place on you or held out until the morning sun came and the scientist had to leave you alone so the preacher who made his rounds would not hear the crying of dying flesh. The sick scientist doing this was soon caught when a girl fled from this chamber and foolishly he ran after her and soon was taken in by the police. A few years just back he died in jail due to starvation. Hamura is now breathing sighs of relief and have been for the past years that he is gone and they are no longer fearing going to that church to pray. The souls that were damned in that place are in prayers constantly for their untimely death.
That however is believed to be just a myth, why would you pick a church to make an experiment with human flesh or send new souls to the gates of the devil or the gates of heaven? It doesn’t make much sense, but some people in this town can be very sick, its all about money here. Those who have money are quite modest but also hostile. Those without the greenbacks are very hostile cheaters and liars who would sell their own skin to make a few hundred bucks. The express ‘sell your soul’ is alive here, it makes people cringe. Not everyone is so glued to money, others are fine just being poor or in the middle without having to be above another group of people or just a person self. The Vocke family is a great example of this, they are very wealthy but don’t need money to be completely happy, yes they can be hostile and very opinionated but who isn’t?
The city altogether is a very nice and quiet place. There are many beautifully wonderful things of Hamura, Tokyo. Hamura is split up so its about two places connected by a long bridge overlooking a large lake of water. Its just this way so ships can come in and out, mainly cruise ships and fishing boats, just around you know. The bridge is wide and long and around it’s end points are both beautifully valleys and a path to guide you home or to your destination. Some forests are here and there and some forests along with the valleys that surround the end points of the lake. Beautiful flowers, cherry blossom trees, pine trees and others just wander in the forest begging to be looked at and admired. This world we have here is so beautiful.

Over this beautiful land it started to rain. The dark clouds rolled in with bangs and jolts of lighting that you hope don’t hit you. It was in fact Monday morning, a school day for high school children, it seemed very slow, the rain drizzled down fast but the way traffic had been it felt as if you needed the bus or a ride you’d get to school faster if you just walked at the risk of being soaked.
He was downstairs in the kitchen standing by the sliding door. He looked outside it watching the rain fall, it seemed to be so slow to him. Sharply he moved his head to the side and his black hair rushed from his eyes as he looked at the time. 7:12. It was time to walk to school.
“Gonna walk?” Asked a happy girly voice behind him. He turned swiftly to see Miranda all jumpy in her school uniform. She had her tie loose and her purple like hair down, she smiled at him with her rainbow eyes as he nodded.
“Yeah You going to walk with me sis?” He showed a small smile and fixed his shirt and grabbed his bag from the floor and flung it over his shoulder and held it like that.
“Yup!” She nodded then turned to her purse and bag that laid on the floor and picked both up hastily. “We’re gonna need an umbrella.” She gracefully walked over to a receptacle by the end of the sliding door and pulled out a black umbrella and a purple one. “Here you go.” She said with quite joy handing her brother the black one.
He took it nicely and nodded. “Time to go.” He put his hand to the lock on the door and unlocked it and slid it to one side. He waited and watched Miranda walk out then he put the lock back on as he was getting out and shut the door tightly.
“Lets go Geode! I can’t be late again to homeroom Mr. Kusa will have my head for it!” She started sprinting with her umbrella up and tightly in her hands. Geode laughed at his sister’s enthusiasm and put his umbrella up only slightly getting hit by a few drops of rain before he did and ran after her. Splashing was heard all over, the streets were filled with water.
They quickly got into the school, Miranda was ecstatic and jumped around. “Whoo! Got here on time!” She giggled dancing around with her feet and put her umbrella down. Geode came in shortly after her and put his down and rinsed it of the water.
“See you after school brother!” She laughed and skipped to her locker, opened it and placed her wet umbrella on the top self. She gripped some books and slid them into her arms and slammed her locker shut then raced off to her homeroom.
Geode had watched his sister and waved bye as she skipped merrily away. He felt so tired this morning and took his time talking to his locker. Number 238, nothing so special about it, just a locker. He did the combination quickly as his head was hurting a bit from having to run over here being a bit half asleep. He ran his fingers along his books reading them and figuring out for what class they belonged and if he was going to them right away. He took out two text books, two copy books, two notebooks, an agenda and a reading book, all were needed for the appropriate classes. He balanced them with great ease then headed off to his homeroom where he would sit and chat for a bit hopefully getting rid of his headache. He walked slow to homeroom and sat down in the row before the last in the class. He was really the only rich kid in the school, and since that he is ‘liked’ by all the kids just to make a friend of him and hopefully get money someday, who is going to mess with a rich kid?
“Hey Geode.” A blue haired kid with an emo cut like Geode went and sat next to him. He had deep blue eyes and wore a blue jacket over his buttoned shirt. This boy was a bit different, everyone knew him they just didn’t know his family, where he came from or if he was rich or not. They left him as a more middle class type.
“Hi Dason.” Geode just gave him a short quick glance as he went through his papers vigorously to find something he needed. One by one he read a bit of each paper he passed to know its importance than stopped seeing what he need wasn’t in sight.
“I think I lost my current event article for class.” He looked over at Dason fully and peered at something he had in his hands. “What is that?” He asked confused but as Dason pulled it up and laid it flat on the table it became clear it was only a newspaper. “Just something about what’s going on around here, this is my event for class.” He said proud of the work.
“I see.” Geode sighed for a long second and his mind started to drift as he began reliving his last few hours to see where he could of left his paper. However a loud ding-ding entered his ears and everyone else’s making him jump and become animated once more. He seemed to leave the idea alone and hand it in late for class. His father cared about his grades but if something happened where it couldn’t be helped, like this instance, his father would be light about it and let it slide if he found out.
The day went slightly quicker for them then a usual day. The sun shown after he got to his first class but shortly left covered by more diseased gray clouds causing the sky to cry once more. His father arranged for them to be picked up however by their chauffer to avoid having his precious children in the rain any longer.
“I’ll see ya tomorrow!” She giggled waving out of the limo’s back seat. Her brother sat next to her, his arm on the inside door of the car and he stared outside in a deep motionless though bubble for a long time. The girls who Miranda was waving to waved back enthusiastically while pulling up their hoods, and once that was done they ran off to get home. Miranda sighed happily and smiling and rolled up her window and leaned back into the nice back of the seat. “I really like school you know.” She said with her eyes closed and waited for an answer from her older brother but when she didn’t get one she opened one eye a bit angrily and looked at him.
“Who rained on your parade?”
Geode seemed to be in his own world. He couldn’t help but feel happy about the rain and watched people walk around outside. Then after a while he heard his sister’s comment and turned his eyes to her without moving his head. “No one, I’m quite happy sis, just enjoying the rain.”
Miranda took a breathe and nodded. “Right.” She put her hands behind her head, his comment didn’t bother her too much but she didn’t see why he watched the rain now, it happens so often, why is it something to watch? She disregarded her own thought and leaned her head back as her hands held it and laid back on the top of the seat.
Geode watched and saw her calm so he moved his green red eyes back outside and continued watching people move and try to escape the crime of the rain. He wondered and thought and just tried to dream in the car as the chauffer pulled the limo safely away from the curb. His sight laid on a man who was running splashing in the puddles waving his arms on the other side of the street trying to get a taxi to stop so he didn’t have to suffer anymore from him being soaking wet. The man got into the taxi and Geode watched as it raced off. He leaned back a bit.
The school, Seihou Gakuenn, was a very big white school with natural colors all around painted on it nicely to give it a homey feeling. Just outside the school was a nice double way street and on the other side of the street, across the school, were buildings, some big and some small. One was a warehouse for storage and others were office buildings and one was a shop on the far end. All had the same bland look and definition to them. He didn’t seem happy to be looking at them though, it was just something to do as the chauffer finally got out of the parked spot he was blocked in by a truck that was struggling to turn on a new small street.
“How was school?” He asked from the front of the car, Geode and Miranda knew him for a while, he was a good employee and a bit of friend to their father.
“Fine.” Geode said gently. “Forgot my project.”
“Oh my.” He began. “Your father won’t be happy if you get bad grade because of that.”
“I know but I’m going to hand it in tomorrow.” Geode said as the car stopped at a red light. He looked at the driver. “I’m sure you’ll do great.” His driver spoke then stopped and remained silent.
The lights turned fairly quickly and on the other side of the street Geode watched something blur in front of his face, he saw a blur of black and gold but his mind hurt too much to really think. He saw it by the middle of the office and warehouse and just stared at them for answer as his headache had come back strong. The car drove across and Geode made a small effort to stare and look back at the buildings but gave up as they drove and soon came into the yard of the huge mansion in front of the beach. The chauffer got out with an umbrella and opened Miranda’s door letting her out nice and dry under the umbrella and did with the same with Geode. The driver shut the doors as Miranda ran to the door and opened it and held it open for Geode as he sluggishly walked to it holding his head a bit.
“Ahh, isn’t it great to be home?”

A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black   A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Icon_minitimeTue Mar 15, 2011 6:11 pm

Chapter 2 ~~~ (MAJORLY EDIT)

Isn’t it great to be home? You could ask that but then again you could just say it, lay on your bed and call it a day, its more relaxing that way. Geode had a headache all morning and only got worse as he got home, he felt so stressed about school. He wasn’t quite sure why, everything was moving at such a fast pace for him that’s a possible explanation for the sudden pain jerking his head. He slumped up the huge staircase, possibly about the size of an average house hold’s stairs, instead of 20 steps, there are about 40. He walked up slowly holding the railing loose but with some strength that he wouldn’t fall back. Geode began to creep up the last ones fast as he just wanted to be in the safety and comfort of his room. As soon as he got up the last step he turned sharply to the end and peered on a nice large door and walked past many other rooms to it. Gripping the knob he swung it soon open and looked around seeing the curtains settle nicely on the sliding doors leading to the balcony. He walked over to the side of a large master bed with gold swirl bar bedposts and chucked his book bag at its side by a small black night table which on top stood a little lamp. He groaned and fell face first on the bed, kicking his shoes off and unbuttoning his shirt so he didn’t get hot from just laying down. He pulled the covers slightly over the middle of his body and laid his head down resting it and hoping the beating pain he felt would soon be over.

His father would not be home for a while. A long time actually. He seems to leave the house after his son and daughter leave for school each day and he comes back to the sweet home around 7:00 p.m. each night. His daughter and son know he’s working hard at one of his stores keeping up with inventory checks and making sure the customer is satisfied. He would stay later at his work and check to make sure all the money was in the cash register and keep track of his employees and what they do and how everything is when they are around. I wonder how truthful is the lies they know. Geode and Miranda aren’t subjected to the life their father has, with not being with him on a regular basis they aren’t sure what he is particularly doing. You should know the truth, its sad the kids don’t and it’s a pity he has to lie to his own children. But what if his lie got out, what then?

Well lets describe the father’s other job one bit at a time. You see a few years ago, as his wife was pregnant with their second child, he was working in a lab sort of, you can call it a lab if you wish. His college peers had known him to be brilliant in the subject of chemistry and therefore needed his help with a particular project -- to create a super human. Its phases were still in the testing stage and the ‘treatment’ to become or to try to become this super human was to inject a series of blood and chemical filled needled into the blood stream. At first this was just a experiment and if you participated you were given a good sum of a few hundred for your convenience. The peers had rounded up a few people, two adults, two teens and a child no older than 4. They were all injected and looked upon for days and days, they were given special rooms to be in incase they had gained a power and were in no control of it. However sadly all the test subjects had died shortly, about a week or two after treatment. The child, a 4 year old boy was a survivor for a bit then something happened and he was killed and buried along with the others whose family collected their share of profits and held respectful funerals.

As sad as it was with what happened the scientist wanted to go on and keep going, they wanted to try with a young child, maybe even a fetus as they saw the boy was the last to die. As they reviewed their notes and made safer changes to the treatment they begged Geode’s father for use of his wife in the experiment, she was about 2 months pregnant but barely showing. After a feud between the couple the mother said as long as nothing happened to the baby in her she’d go along with the tragedy that took many lives. But she wasn’t the only in the experiment this time, a lonely mother, about 8 months pregnant needed desperate help and money was also included, she had no job and was scared she wouldn’t be able to fend for her soon to be newborn. The father would look at both pregnant women including his wife and nod, telling them its as safe as they could get it and they should all be ok. Sadly, he was wrong. Just a few months after Geode’s mother was given the treatment, she had a normal healthy baby girl who had no signs of super human in her. However once researched they found that the treatment avoided the baby and went straight into the mother’s blood stream. Before they could do anything, holding her newborn, Miranda’s mother died a horrible death, her baby was said to have been the one keeping her life as the blood with the treatment was circulating around but when Miranda was finally cut from her mother, the treatment stayed in her mother’s blood and caused a clot that killed her. The father blamed himself for months on end and never stopped. As he held his newborn daughter he though of his wife and named the precious gift after her.

But what happened to the other mother, this you might be asking. The other mother had died as well but months earlier and by a different cause. When she was 9 months pregnant and ready to soon give birth, her stomach was cut and bleeding for unknown reasons. For the longest time it was a mystery on what happened, but it was soon found out by one of the chemists working on this project as well was helping the mother deliver when she needed. When he saw her not breathing he checked her and saw the cut, he thought it was only sabotage and was unsure what to clearly make out of it. He heard a bit of screaming from a tiny voice and pushed his hands into the mother’s bleeding stomach and pulled out a little girl.

He cleaned the child off and rocked her a bit, but this child was different. He noticed she had a small head of blonde hair and two things sticking out of the side of her head from her skull. He gently pulled one and in amazement it budged just a bit but didn’t come off. He called for some help and got a few people to come and look as he laid the baby wrapped up in a little open container.

“Here.” He said, he moved the baby’s hair from the side of her head to show she had no human ears. Gasping astonished the other scientists stared. “Could…could this be the one?” As the chemist nodded he moved his hand to the little things sticking out of her head. Little wolf ears they looked and felt like and were. “See they don’t come off!” He shouted and tugged on the baby’s wolf ear. A loud sad cry was heard from the darling child, she started screaming from pain of it and blood splattered around the room, mostly on the walls, as the chemist who did this to her was sliced in half and both his body fell before the scientists. His blood fluently left his body and the other scientists, white faces like ghosts and gasping expressions stared at the body for a second hearing the baby still cry. One shouted: “That’s no super human that’s a monster!”. Her blonde ears twitched at hearing them and the one who called her a monster was soon up in flames, burning in an intense blue and white fire. It looked like ice but as the skin of the poor misjudged was turning black and cracking, you know it was a very hot flame. His body soon collapsed by the chemist and the child, not even a day old refused to cry anymore from how exhausted she was. After a big yawn the child was soon asleep and a horror filled but relived sigh came from the last scientist, the only female one who had red short hair and glasses. Her eyes shook as she carefully approached the little girl in the container. “Ho-How…is that…even possible?” Her voice quiet but confused, she looked down at her dead friends then over at a board right in front of the baby’s receptacle. “Your mother has your name written here.” She placed the board away and slowly put her arms under the baby and lifted her up and cradled her. Her blonde head of hair moved with a swoosh and her ears flinched a tiny bit as she slept.
“You are certainly different.”

What they did with the child after that is horrid. They placed her in rooms and made her do countless projects to control her powers, sadly she never could and if someone died a day that wouldn’t be surprising. Geode’s father, John Vocke, was held mostly responsible since he was the one who injected the mother and since so he had to monitor the girl’s every movements. She would be chained to a wall, covered in blood of the person she killed.

A loud ringing from a nearby phone woke Geode back into focus. “Oh come on!” He rubbed his head slowly lifting it up and looking at a white corded phone on his nightstand. “Geode!” Miranda’s voice sounded as if she had just woken up too. “Get it!” He groan pitifully and picked up the phone almost shaking, he wasn’t too awake yet.
“Geode? Miranda?”
“Its Geode dad…what’s wrong?”
“Nothing son, just got caught up at my shop, I’ll be home late tonight so order out for your sister and you and I will be back as quick as I can.” He sounded so rushed and plain and after he spoke a click from the phone being hung up sounded and Geode smiled a bit. His headache was a bit gone and even though he loved being around his father he enjoyed nights they could order out the food they wanted without their father’s annoying opinion.
“Miranda we’re eating out tonight!” He shouted loud and jumped out of bed and ran to the door swinging it open to walk across the hall and banged on her door. “Hey did’ya hear me?”
“Yeah yeah!” She sounded happy and full of life instead of sleep and he could hear the springs on her bed leap as she got off her bed. She ran to the door and opened it. “So what we getting bro?”
“I was thinking some rice cakes from the down town shop. Want to come with me to get it?”
“Yup.” She nodded and pulled some socks the colors of a dull rainbow and shoes and grabbed a gray velvet colored purse and flung it over her shoulder. She turned and watched as her brother put some shoes on and grabbed money from his wallet. “On me this time.” He pushed the money into the pocket of his gray black almost neko coat as he zipped it up and waited for his sister outside. She grabbed a white coat that contained faux fur on the inside to keep her back warm. She jogged and ran out the door closing and locking it behind her as she left.
“Ok, ready.” Her brother nodded and the siblings walked close to each other as the day began breaking into a death defying sunset while they walked down a dirt road where railroad tracks lay in base of it.
Miranda was walking steadily on the tracks, balancing her weight out as much as she could. “Pretty sunset.” She said wobbling a bit and staring at it watching cherry blossoms pink and white fly off of trees in front of her. “Yeah.” Her brother nodded smiling with his hands in his pockets. “Why do you think dad needed to stay late tonight?”
Miranda gave a small shrug. “Not sure happens like every month or so maybe it’s the employees or something to that sort.”

Geode nodded but wasn’t really paying attention, his normal smile face and green red eyes stared ahead at the sun and horizon the whole time.
Together the brother and sister listened to the chaos of talking the people around the streets were shouting as they walked toward a restaurant they favored. Miranda walked in and got a small table for them on the floor where they would kneel and eat their food.
Geode quickly accompanied his sister and watched as one of the workers came over and took their orders. Hurriedly the food was served as it had been cooked to perfection and was set out in front of them. “Enjoy and come again.” Smiled the waitress as she took the money and left leaving the two to enjoy the food and each other company.
“Ah! That was great!” Miranda rubbed her stomach. “I love this place!” She giggled happily with her hands on her legs as she ecstatically looked at Geode who nodded just about doing the same pose. “We should head on home now maybe dad will be there soon.”
Miranda nodded and got up with her brother and the two set back out to the now darkened road ahead of them to get home.
“How did this happen!?” John slammed his fists down on the table, the first time if any had someone seen him so angry. “We aren’t sure sir but we did all we could, she just escaped.” John glared at the man who spoke with him in the office, he was eager to punch someone. “Don’t you understand how dangerous she is? Where are those men with the guns? They are supposed to be here!”
“They were here.” He empathized the word ‘were’ and looked a bit sadly down. “She took them down Mr. Vocke. Down to hell.” John nervously tapped on the table looking at the man in full wonder. “I don’t understand…it happened right under our noses! What time would you say? I didn’t get a chance to evaluate her all day.”
“It was early, alarms and everything went off pulling us all to the scene and we lost many good men sir.” John shook his head trying to think maybe he was here when it happened but how did he not see it?
“We need to find her, get your best men left on the job.”
“Yes sir.”

A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black   A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Icon_minitimeWed Mar 16, 2011 7:27 pm

Chapter 3 ~~ (Edit!!!)

She seemed irritated, the look in her eyes, the tapping of her fingers on the desk, her placement of her hand on her cheek being supported by her elbow and her look of coldness of how she sat, would all be dead giveaways for this. Her red hair grew a bit to her shoulders no longer bobbed. Her red framed glasses reached the end of her nose and her devil red-pink eyes stared openly but mischievously. She looked around where she was, a cold place it was at heart. She was sitting on a desk which by her lied thousands of buttons all in front of one place, in front of one machine. She wore a lab coat over her tan shirt and light blue pants. In front of her stood a large glass almost unbreakable wall and a door right to the middle of it breaking the machine in two. She placed her hand free hand onto the keyboard to seize her tapping. Buttons were all around, this was a high tech lad of course with many directors and only one subject, the same curious subject as before. The chemist and scientists weren’t the only ones here to work, since this being a full time job, they have called in SWAT, and any other group that had guns and were trained. They said she was too dangerous to be left alone, she’d kill everyone and its best to be on the safe side, some for threat and other to actually take her life to protect everyone else’s, well if they can actually hit her.

“What’s the matter Yuka? You always look forward to experimenting.” A tall tan man with a pale face and green eyes said standing a bit far next to her. He had a lean look on his face with a small excited grin as if he’s been waiting his whole life for this moment.
Yuka, the girl with the red hair sitting at the desk, turned and looked up at him. For a moment their eyes met and some tension was thrown to the man from Yuka.
“Dakin you should know well enough by now I treat her like how she should be treated. I don’t look forward to experimenting on a child.”
“Yuka! Listen to yourself! She’s nothing but a monster! We even sent her to school like you asked but one minute she was fine the next the teacher was cut in half scarring every child in that room. She became a major threat after that.”
Yuka turned from him nearly defeated. She focused her eyes in front of her, tears coming into existence at the sides. “I remember…” She said in a low, sad and reflective voice. Her eyes moved shakily remembering everything that happened. A flashback appeared clear as day in her mind.

“I think we should try at least!” Yuka pounded her palms on the table in the small office. “She just turned 5, she needs to go to school!” She was screaming at two people in front of her. John and a man who runs the company. He is a tall man with blue hair and dark almost black eyes and no sense of real happiness. He wore a nice dark blue suit with light blue stripes and a white shirt under with a red tie, natural and normal. He stood with his hands in his pockets and blue framed glasses on his face, he looked at Yuka but wasn’t the least bit in caring for what she had to say. When she was done her testimony he walked past her to the window and looked out it in a suspicious way. “You see this world out here Yuka? This safe world? Why would we put that monster into it? All she would do is cause death-”
“Not if she’s treated right!” Yuka cut him off angrily. “People get what they deserve if they hurt that child.”
The man just stared at her as if he was going to fire her on the spot or shoot her.
“Now Mr. Kuso I don’t mean to speak out of term but maybe if we can get her out in the real world for a bit, she’d become more stable if she could make friends and have a life.”
Mr. Kuso thought a bit then hesitatingly nodded. “As you wish Yuka.”
Her eyes went a bit wide as John took no part of the conversation but watched it all go down. “You- you mean it sir?”
He nodded disdainfully. “Yes, but if something happens Yuka, this was your choice, if someone get hurts its your job to control the kid and bring her back as soon as possible.”
With that he simply turned giving Yuka and John a look and then nodded once more and began leaving. He passed by John and spoke to him in a whisper. “Keep your eye on her as well. If Yuka dies, the kid needs to be stopped.”
John nodded simply. “Understood.”
Mr. Kuso nodded and walked out the door, a slight cheer came from Yuka and soon her and John left the room. The came into a strange room filled with machines and buttons and glass windows and doors with a small alarm on the side of the wall. Behind the glass stood a small almost unbreakable room and a little girl sat there, blood that was and wasn’t her own was on her body flowing down her a bit still but some was dried. The child was naked, sitting in a pretzel style with her doll in her lap. Her head was tipped down as if she had done something wrong and her bangs blocked her eyes. She had beautiful gold-like blonde hair that was straight and little cute bangs that stopped before her eyes. The wolf ears, were the color of her hair and down a bit, they looked as if they could be trembling, but they weren’t.

The doll was a symbol of friendship and love. Yuka had given the little blonde monstrosity that doll just a while ago. Its name is Daisy, she has green eyes and brown hair. She wore a white dress and was like a little Christian doll with a cross around her neck. That doll was the monster’s first friend and she loved her dearly, she wouldn’t go anywhere without it.
Yuka ran into the room and ran up to the child silently as possible not to startle her.
She went and sat down next to her, chains were at the monster’s ankles, keeping her from getting farther than 3 feet from the wall.
“Hey sweetie.” Yuka smiled kindly and gently touched the child’s hair to move it from her face, but the child recoiled and shook her head meaning not to touch her hair.
“Oh, sorry honey.” She leaned back on the wall and looked down at the child sadly as her hair over shadowed her eyes and you couldn’t see those beauties.
She turned and leaned her head back. “Do you know what school is?” The wolf ears went up and the child listened to Yuka. Yuka moved her eyes slightly to the child’s way and smiled. “Well it’s a place where you can meet friends and get out of this cell for a good time. Do you wish to go?”
The child just stayed as she was but spoke in a cute voice that was pleasant and loving to the ears. “I like friends.”
Yuka smiled. “We all do, do you wish to go Jules?”
The child nodded still not showing her eyes and her mouth kept that unhappy straight expression. “Very much.”

As she started coming back to reality Dakin looked at her. “You remember what she did in school Yuka? Her first five days she was fine. It was day six, the number of the devil.”
Yuka looked at him tears, crystal clear ran down her face. “I remember..” Her mind went back to that sixth day.
“Put that doll away!” The teacher yelled at the child, her hair was down and nice but her wolf ears were known to be a ‘headband’ to the class so they didn’t freak out, but some people still called her a freak behind her back knowing they had to be somewhat real.
“But…she’s my friend.”
“You have other friends honey…”
The teacher, smiling as best she could grabbed Daisy’s arm and started pulling her. “You can play with her after class right now we need to do some painting.”
“No!” She pulled the doll back to her and kept her close.
“Yes…please give me the doll honey.” The teacher pulled on her arm more and with the child pulling away the arm slipped from the dolls socket and the child fell back on her butt with the broken doll on her lap. She looked at it, her eyes were shaded from everyone else but tears ran down her cheek. “D-Daisy…..you broke my friend!” She screamed so dramatically with tears that the teacher leaned down and quickly picked up the arm. “Swe-”
As she was about to speak, her words were cut as her neck and stomach were slashed and she fell to pieces to the ground. Her body soon went in flames and in plain fear the children ran around screaming, getting in corners and hiding themselves.
She cried and sniffled and walked slowly to the doll’s arm and took it.
“D-Daisy..”

“She didn’t care about the teacher.” Yuka remarked still tearing up.
“Nope…only the doll.” Dakin said sighing. “That’s all she ever did care about.” Yuka looked at him, her face full of guilt. “I patched the doll up for her later that day and told her not to do that anymore…but its not enough.”
“No.” Dakin said looking up. “She knows what she can do if she gets so upset or so frightened. She’s unstoppable.”
“She’s afraid. She doesn’t speak to me anymore, she hasn’t after she know what she had done wrong.” Yuka said drying up her tears with her sleeve. “Lets not focus on the past anymore…she was a child then.”
Dakin nodded and pointed to the glass. Inside that room now was a huge cross, it was made of a material that couldn’t be cut or burn and the same blonde haired child, now about 17 and no longer five, was chained to it. Her neck was chained tightly along with her wrists and feet, one on top of the other chained to the cross. They did not want to give her freedom of sight and placed a metal like blindfold around her eyes, even though she rarely showed them anyway. Her wolf ears were up and right in front of them tied were black bows. A symbol of pure innocence.
Dakin nodded then looked over at Yuka once more after his eyes got back from the wolf eared girl. “They plan on killing her.”
Yuka felt strange, she knew it wasn’t possible but they would try and if they somehow succeeded, all their research would go down the drain and a life very precious to her would be taken. “They cannot..” “They are going to try though.” Yuka looked sadly at him then looked up at the cross and the girl tied to it. “She will not die.”

Before Yuka could say anymore a lieutenant of the army walked in two the small room they were in. He was carrying a rifle gun and had a grand smirk on his face. “Let me talk to the kid. I’ll get through to her, if she listens maybe we don’t have to shoot.” He had confidence written all over him, brown hair and wanting to kill brown eyes. He passed Yuka and Dakin and walked to the glass door and opened it. Yuka ran to try and stop him but stopped herself and begged in her mind that the girl wouldn’t be killed.
“Ok sweetheart I’ll make this quick.” He chuckled and put the gun up high aiming at her. The girl just moved her head down despite seeing or not she knew his location and listened to him. He adjusted his gun and when it got perfect for him to hold, he pulled the trigger and started shooting her.
Yuka gasped and covered her eyes unable to watch the horror scene. *No…don’t die…please don’t die!* Yuka had cared for that child all her life, she held her when she was just born and took care of her for all those years and loved her like her own child. As much as she wanted to run to the man and stop him, there was no way too. He just kept shooting.
Smoke was soon everywhere from the bullet, the man kept shooting and smiled hearing them all leave his gun. As the smoke cleared he went to look up at his victory when he saw the girl was completely alive with no scratches. He went wide eyed and backed up lowering his gun. “No…this is not possible!” The bullets were on the ground, some cut in half and some burned up.
“No….!” His eyes went wide and small as he was terrified. He backed up to the glass door and as he turned his gun was cut in half and the half he was holding was put on fire. He began to scream at the hot blue flames and threw the gun and ran out of the room. He gasped for air looking at Yuka who finally looked up. “She….survived…”
“That girl is evil! She must be taken down at once!”
“If she can survive that attack she can survive all.” Yuka said slightly smiling. The lieutenant looked strangely at her but before he could speak Dakin did. “She can survive pretty well on her own, but maybe if she was ganged up on…”

They tried and it still didn’t work. But….they didn’t have to go to the girl, she came to them.
“Wh-what is she doing!?” Shouted Dakin scared and backing up. The chains, they were burning up in a hot white flame and being broken with cuts as well. They melted and broke off easily, sending the girl to fall on her feet with the blindfold still around her eyes. She almost fell completely but raised herself up and started walking toward the glass door. Instead of cutting it and shattering it into pieces, a blue flame covered it as well and it melted without hesitation. They all backed up as she approached.
Yuka watched almost to tears. She wanted to scream her name and tell her to run and run as well but something about her, she knew the girl wouldn’t hurt her.
Then her eyes got fixed on her hand, the girl…she held Daisy in her hand, by the arm like a child would. Yuka simply backed up and watched this unfold. The girl did nothing but walk by them closer to the shooter.
He ran out of the way and called for back up. Soon there were rows and rows of men, all aiming and shooting, but in the end, heads flew off and bodies burned to a crisp, they threatened her and they could even hear her cry. She just wanted to be free and now free she was as she walked out of the lab leaving behind many dead, many alive and tons of burned and cut bullets.

A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black   A Silver Rose Hidden In A Valley Of Black Icon_minitimeSat Mar 19, 2011 6:09 pm

Chapter 4 ~~~ (EDIT)

That all happened hours ago, the clock just send out a chime around 7 ‘o’clock when if was all over and ended. Innocent lives taken by the monster everyone helped create, those damned souls are buried right outside the lab on the cliff of dirt. But let me ask you this why did you make a human that in the end you would just destroy? You created what you always wanted - a superhuman. She has powers, she cannot be killed as easily as you can, you did what you wanted. Why kill her in the end?
“Its like an Angel dying.” Yuka stated to John much later in the day, around five o’clock after John told Geode to get dinner for him and his sister. This is about the time John found out she escaped and was outraged beyond belief. He didn’t care much for what she said, he was so distraught and was only thinking about how to get her back here. But I may tell you one thing, none of them knew rightly what to do, shall they bring her back here or kill her on the street? Either way people will die along the road and she might never die or get caught. He walked silently back and forth in the office with Yuka who was pleasantly sitting and hoping the demon wouldn’t get into any trouble. She pulled out a notepad and wrote down more notes adding to the several she had stored away.
“Would you like to know?” She said out loud to John but he didn’t do much more than throw a glance at her and kept pacing trying to get his mind working.
She saw his glance and continued after clearing her throat. “So far she has attacked and killed over 80 people and reason behind it seems to be that she fears them.” She empathized the word ‘fears’ long enough for John to turn to her in wonder. “That so?” He asked walking to her side by her chair and the desk.
“Yes.” She nodded and continued to read. “Her power is completely uncontrollable, so far she can’t control it, if she is frightened, hurt, very sad or attacked her powers will come. Usually…” She looked at John in a bit of a distrust manner. “Her powers come out mostly if she cries, which means they come out on strong emotion rather than when she plans.”
“Isn’t that almost the same?” John asked a bit confused but Yuka shook her head. “If she cannot see an attack or be hurt, her power cannot protect herself.”
John started getting a sly idea along with a sly smile. He looked away from Yuka. “That’s it….she has to sleep some time.” Yuka turned to him and right away regretted all she said, she quickly scribbled out the notes and looked at John hoping he wouldn’t do what she was thinking, but sadly to him this girl had to be stopped and this was the only way.

Yuka was partly wrong, the monster who was imprisoned in that cell would only be protected by her powers if she was in danger more than not. If she’s just regular crying it won’t do much to anything around her. Anger can trigged a bit of her powers as well. Yes her powers seem so minor to the world but since she is the only one with powers and if she learns to control them or they appear more often, then its major time to worry. She could destroy the city with her two hands without even really thinking of it. Yuka can’t help but wonder where she was, she treated the monster like her own child and always would.
“Just misunderstood..” She would say sometimes about her to her peers. “Juliet, she’s just misunderstood..”
Juliet was misunderstood, ever since that incident with the teacher Juliet hasn’t spoken. She rarely looked up at Yuka anymore, too afraid to since she knew she did wrong. Not only did Juliet not speak, she was never treated like a human after that, they didn’t feed her but instead of her turning to skin and bones her power prevented that and somehow she was able to survive most years without food or clothes, she only wore clothes once in her life and that was the 6 days of school, after that day they treated her like a unworthy dog. They would whip and beat her as a child, but usually whoever was brave enough to do it ended up with their head in a pool of blood. She would sit chained to the wall with blood running down her and when she started breaking free and was attached to the cross, blood stains still appeared, she never seized to kill, she was always threatened.

It was beginning to dim, the darkness surrounded the sun and started to eat it, taking it away from its job of lighting the earth. The wind blew a bit harsher and the sounds of the late hour bell rang and people in cars speeded in the streets to get home. Cherry blossoms and flowers flew from their origin to all over the place being carried and supported by the wind. Gray clouds rolled in once more, it had given into the sun but now the sun was eaten and it could show its face more and its tears, angry tears fell harshly from it and poured all over the ground. It hit everything in its path and made walking a bit tougher.
She walked around looking down a bit, her long straight blonde hair getting soaked from the rain and blowing a bit around, her bangs down covering her eyes and shadowing some of her face. Water dripped and ran down her nude body as she walked holding the doll in her hand still. She moved her head a bit, not enough to see her eyes but enough for her to see around, the metal blindfold had come off during the battle. Her wolf ears were down and as the wind pushed her hair back she almost looked like a regular teen. She wasn‘t sure where to go or what to do, she saw some train tracks and confused about their purpose she felt as though they were a path and began following forward. Poor child, she had not known where she was going. As the cherry blossoms and rain fell on her and by her feet she would jump a bit or back up, she didn’t know if it was threatening or not, but as she stood in the rain for a while, she just believed it to be like the almost dried blood on her, something that can just soak and decorate her.

“We almost home yet?” Miranda shouted annoyed at the rain and kept her hood up, she began to shake a bit from the cold air looking at Geode. But he didn’t notice. He stared up at the sky and saw a bright star through the dark damp clouds, he watched for a bit not hearing his sister. Soon enough pain from being hit in the shoulder pushed him into reality. “Ouch!” He yelled and his green eyes narrowed a bit looking at Miranda. “Oh don’t give me that look! How are we even going to get home!?” She crossed her arms and her rainbow eyes fell to the ground. “I mean its cold and the rain is getting bad brother.” Geode had nodded agreeing with her on that, quickly he grabbed his sister’s hand. “We should really start moving.” He began running with her and she was trailing behind him barely able to keep up, the main reason for running so fast was to beat the storm in its own game and not to get soaked before they got home. They made it back to where the train tracks turn and if they’d run straight and follow them they could get home. Miranda laughed and started pulling Geode along playfully but he was tripping a bit.
“Faster!” She shouted letting her brother go and running freely ahead letting untold winds and rain lead her. She giggled in a sweet matter but then a piece of reality hit her as her head skull bashed into another’s and made that one fall back. Miranda fell to her knees holding her head that was a bit red. “Ouch!” She groaned loudly. “Miranda?” Geode saw her fall and ran to her side quickly, he grabbed her arms and pulled her up looking at her head. “You ok sis? What happened?”
She groaned once more rubbing her head still. “I ran into something. Head on.” Geode nodded and looked up but saw no pole or anything she could run into. “But there’s nothing to run into.” He said then moved his sister a bit and saw a naked girl laying on side, her back turned to them and blood down her body. Her blonde hair fell into a puddle by her and Daisy was just inches in front of her. Red went on Geode’s cheeks and nose. “She’s..” He quickly covered his face behind Miranda as she looked back.
“Oh my god! I ran into her!” She turned Geode around and slapped him. “Don’t look at naked girls!”
Geode kept his head down hiding his sight and rubbed a redder cheek. “Hey! It was an accident! At least I didn’t run into her!” He pulled some of his longer hair into his eyes. “Get something on her! God this feels all wrong!”
“Well give me your jacket!” She shouted and turned him around and started pulling it off him. “Wha-Why!?” After she had it a bit below his arms he gave in. “Oh fine but hurry!” The blush on his face stayed.
Miranda started running to her but quickly went to a stop when she saw Juliet groan and move a bit. Slowly her shaken arms came in front of her as she moved to on her stomach and as she tried to pull herself up tears from her hit the ground that Miranda knew wasn’t the rain. “Hey..” She said gently and ran over to her side and put the jacket on her back that just covered her shoulders to her butt. “I’m so sorry for running into you, are you alright sweetie?” Miranda put the sleeves of the coat on Juliet’s arms and tried lifting her up but Juliet refused and slid down so she was sitting on the ground crying a bit. She held her arms and pulled her knees up between them.
Miranda had no idea what to do, she got on her knees and tried to move Juliet’s hair from her face. “Hey…your fine, no need to cry.” As she touched Juliet’s bangs Juliet looked up a bit and her eyes, stark blue and beautiful first time seen to anyone besides Yuka, stared right at Miranda’s. Sad, confused and lightless eyes. Miranda smiled a bit and put her hand on her forehead where it was red from the two girls colliding. “You’re fine.” She said sweetly and watched as Juliet’s sad eyes turned a bit normal to happy and her trembled mouth turned to a small smile. Miranda smiled at her bravely. “See? That’s a nice smile.” She pulled Juliet’s arms through the jacket’s sleeves and zipped it up over her breasts for her. “Are you lost?” Juliet nodded a bit and her wolf ears went a bit up and were see-able no longer covered by her hair and her black bows.
“What the!?” Miranda looked at them astonished and Juliet rose them high trying to hear Miranda. “Why…that’s a headband right? You know with the bows and ears…?”
Geode with his black hair and clothes facing them wondered. *Headband?* He turned slowly around and saw her ears and screamed. “AHH! What are those!” He fell back pointing to them.
Juliet wasn’t threatened, she knew that but she felt the need to cry, to avoid it she shook her head looking down, her blonde hair once again overshadowing her eyes.
“Wait..” Miranda crawled the half foot over to her and pulled on one of the wolf ears making Juliet whine. “They’re sticking out of her head! Geode!” She turned to her brother who was trying to calm down. “I think they grew from her skull…” She moved her hand to Juliet’s face and pushed some of her hair back. “She doesn’t have any human ears.” Miranda looked from Juliet to Geode. Juliet took a hold on Miranda’s hand that was on her face and pulled it down shaking her head. Miranda wasn’t horrified anymore as Juliet did that, instead she was worried and upset for her. “What happened to you?”
Juliet took a look up at her with sad eyes and shook her head like she didn’t know. Miranda let out a soft. “Oh..” And turned to Geode one final time.

The rain was seemingly falling down harder on them and the chilly wind was getting lower in degrees. Geode and Miranda were standing up talking just in front of Juliet who retrieved Daisy and was holding her tightly to keep her safe from the rain.
“She doesn’t have a home Geode..”
“Yeah and you think dad wants her in the house?” He went to a whisper. “Did you see her ears?!”
Miranda nodded looking back. “I did run into her, we have to help her Geode! We can’t leave her out here alone in the rain!”
Geode nodded knowing she was fully right. “I know Miranda, but where could we hide her so dad doesn’t kill us for bringing home a stranger?”
Miranda put her hand to her chin and thought. After a moment peace she smiled. “She can hang out in your room! Its bigger than mine and we can lay out a bed for her.”
His green eyes moved as he thought. “Alright.” He smiled a bit and looked at his sister. “Lets take her home then. And oh- You’re going to have to lend her some clothes and dress her.”
Miranda rolled her eyes and let out a laugh. “Well that’s not a problem.” She pulled Geode to Juliet’s side with her. “You want to stay with us?” She asked Juliet kindly and this was surprising to Juliet, the only person who gave her kindness was Yuka. Juliet looked at them and nodded slowly with uncertain eyes and smile.
“Well.” Miranda pulled her to her feet and her eyes phased her older brother. “Lets go.” She led Juliet to their house with Geode by their side.

They got in just a bit after, the wind seemed to die down and the rain seized its throbbing down. “And this is your bed.” They were in Geode’s room, its black décor appealed to Juliet and she looked at Geode who was taking a mattress and placing it on the opposite side of his door so it was hidden by his bed. One reason for doing this is that if their dad came, he wouldn’t see Juliet right away. He put some nice sheets on it with a pillow and placed one of his clean silver quilts on it. “That ok?” His eyes glanced up at hers and she took a slight nod with a small smile and placed the doll down on the bed to mark it was hers. When Geode and Miranda saw that they wondered why she had a doll, she was about their age but why the doll? After a while they excused it as Miranda got a call on her cell phone. “Oh no its Dad!” She looked at Geode. “Ok I’ll answer and stall him on the phone, you go and take her to the bathroom so she can get a shower!” But before Geode could object Miranda ran out of the room. “Hi dad! Yeah we ate….yeah its calming down..”
Geode sighed lightly. “Follow me.” He got up taking his shoes off and his well built body walked steadily to the bathroom just a few feet from his room, Juliet curiously followed.
He pushed the curtains aside and turned and leaned down to a drawer and pulled out a rag. “Here.” He handed it to Juliet and she took it and just stared at it. Not knowing what it exactly was she poked it with her other hand and sniffed it.
Geode let out a small chuckle. “Its clean don’t worry.” He walked by her ready to leave the bathroom when she tapped his back and he turned to her. “Yeah?” Juliet pointed to the curtain then to the rag confused.
“Wait…don’t tell me you don’t know how to take a shower.” As she shook her head the red on his cheeks and nose that faded came back once again and he gulped. “Um….ok…looks like I’ll have to..” He got redder and pulled her into the tub. “Sit down ok?” She did so and he gulped again. “Man this feels so wrong! Ok…Ok Geode breathe, breathe. I’m going to take the jacket off with my eyes closed and bath you that way ok?”
Juliet nodded with a straight face wondering what a bath even was.
After he got the jacket off he turned the water on and began bathing her. He got extremely red as he had to open his eyes twice to see where he was. Juliet just held her arms and hands like she was a dog begging but this was just how she was posed so he could do whatever he was doing.
Geode pushed the rag gently onto her chest and moved it too fast hitting her breast and he jumped up, opening his eyes in embarrassment along with a beat red face. “AHH!” He fell back behind the tub on the floor with a bloody nose, and his eyes were rolling around dazed wishing that didn’t happen. Juliet saw him fall and put her hands on the inside edge of the tub and looked down at him seeing him like that. Her head curiously tipped and one of her wolf ears were up and the other was cocked down, both black innocent bows showing. Miranda came in looking at her phone. “Geode Dad said..” She saw him on the floor and he looked up at her as her eyes went from him to Juliet in the tub back to him.
“Its not what you think!” Geode shouted as Miranda started laughing. “Sure sure!” She waved her hand giggling. “I’m serious!” Geode hopped up a little and Juliet watched the two tipping her head a slight bit more wondering why they were laughing and even how they were laughing. That was just something she didn’t know how to do, she knew how to cry and smile and get mad. But what was laughing?

“Call the dogs on her.” John insisted to a few men in an office with him. The office was a dull gray blue with blood splatters dried on the wall. One of the men was Mr. Kuso but the others were different. Two SWAT men, both with guns held in hand ready to fight. One had the appearance of a brave man, he had amber hair and the other had blonde hair without much expression. The two nodded. “Yes sir.” They said to John and headed outside to a tank like truck. “Kaito.” Said the amber haired one. “Yes Saki?” Kaito asked turning his head to him. “Get the mutts ready, I will find something that they can use to track her.” He turned and waited for Kaito to say: “Yes Saki.” Then he ran off into the building again. Snapping and barking with hungry muzzles, about four dogs were let out, all part wolf in them and part retriever, they were black golden wolf dogs with mixed colors and markings. These dogs were perfect for the job, the wolf in them made their smelling and hearing better, also their sight too. “You four ready to find some meat?” Kaito asked and bent down at the dogs. They sat for him and barked at once. He went to the biggest one. “I want her alive, but feel free to bite.” The wolf let out a bark that he understood as Saki came out with a chain that was wrapped around Juliet’s wrist. “Here.” He threw it to the ground and the wolves sniffed it and crazily barked as the man who was holding onto their leashes from the tank was being pulled out. “Sirs!” He shouted barely able to hold them back. Saki smirked. “Release them, they have her scent.” The man did as he was told and released them, soon the four started galloping as fast as they could in one direction all together.
“Should we follow?” Kaito asked Saki as he pulled up a walkie-talkie. “Mr. Kuso the dogs have been released.”
Saki shook his head. “No.” He sat down and patted the seat next to him. “Just sit and wait.”
“Excellent, when they come back with her let us know.” Mr. Kuso said back then looked up at John. “Mighty fine idea you had.”
“Why thank you sir, I try to do my best.” Mr. Kuso nodded in reaction to John’s comment but then faced the table were a picture of two little children who were hugging sat. “What about your children John?”
“Sir?”
“I mean they should know shouldn’t they? After all you are their father, they should know what you do and what happened. If that girl comes near them.” He put his hand on the back of the picture and slammed it down forward but didn’t break the glass. “She’ll kill them.”
John’s eyes just widened and he gulped. After all he had done, he wasn’t ready to tell his children.
“Can they not know for a bit longer?”
“Sure.” He said after thinking on it a bit. *They might want to go find her then.* He brought the picture back up. “Just tell them that someone has escaped jail and to not hang around with anyone they don’t know until we got her back. Understood?”
“Clearly sir.”

Chapter 5 ~~ (MAJOR EDIT)

Geode got up after laughing. “Seriously Miranda, she doesn’t know how to bath herself and you were on the phone so I did it.” Miranda giggled slightly watching Geode cross to get a towel from the rack and quickly place it over Juliet’s shoulders.
“So…did you enjoy giving her one?” Geode’s back was to her as he helped Juliet out of the tub and he went bright red. “N-No…”
“Sure you didn’t!” Miranda giggled and walked over to Geode and pushed him back in a playful like manner. “Now go to your room, I’ll give her something to wear.” He nodded. “Sure sis, whatever you say.” He turned and went into his room and laid down on his bed. As he looked up the ceiling reminded him of a black distant galaxy, the top was all black with swirls of gray and white disappearing as if from a bad paint job but looked striking on the ceiling.
“So..” Miranda began dying Juliet’s shoulder’s with the towel gently and looked up at her. “We never got your name.” She said with wonder. “You have one?” Juliet nodded but shook her head. Of course she had a name but just didn’t speak to tell it. “Yes? No?” Asked Miranda confused and soon enough after thinking what Juliet was trying to make out, she gave up and just gave a polite smile to Juliet. “Well lets get you dressed shall we?” She lead Juliet to her purple room. White-purple lavender walls with a bit of black mixed in, seemed like a normal girl’s room to be truthful. Miranda led Juliet to her bed and sat her down on it as she went through her clothes and picked out a beautiful short gray and blue sundress that would go down just before her knees. “This will look gorgeous on you!” She said with a wink that made Juliet tip her head raising her ears. Miranda giggled a bit and ran over to Juliet and pulled her up to get her dressed.

The dark night just seemed to get darker to Geode, maybe it was because he didn’t have a light on and his body lay in complete darkness to the world. His eyes closed and he was slowly drifting off into a dream world. Not sure what was in his dream world but roses, black roses were all around and a silver rose lied in the middle of it all as an outcast. Geode was running through the black roses to reach the silver one but as he got closer, he seemed only more drawn back. The sudden sounds of howling and barking and he arose from his sleep. “What?” Rubbing his eyes he looked around his dark room then leaned up a bit to hear footsteps.
“Hi Geode!” Miranda giggled jumping into the room. “I want you to see her!” Geode in all that time forgot they had taken a girl, Juliet, into their lives. He sat up and nodded. “As long as she’s dressed.” Miranda nodded and gave him a look that said: “duh” and ran out of the room and pulled on something dragging it forward. Juliet emerged from the shadowy hallway into Geode’s room, he flicked his light on and smiled a bit. He liked her appearance as if that dress was made for her. Her hair was straight and down, the bows fixed around her ears and the dress laid perfectly on her and as predicted, ended at her knees, just before her knees really. It had about no sleeves but had a ribbon in the middle of it separating the colors blue and gray. “Well brother?” Miranda asked smiling with a huge grin and Juliet only looked at him. She tipped her head a bit for an answer as she twirled around in the dress curious to what it really was. “You..” Geode began. “Look great.”
Sounds and tacks on the window they heard to be rain falling on the glass of the window and ran down it slightly and wondrously. Sounds, the sounds of busting it down and scraping the floor with thorns from the paws, they looked around, no one in the first room, one, the leader, lifted his head up and sniffed the air. He let out a small bark than they ran.
Juliet’s ears perched up and Miranda’s head turned around seeing so. “Did you two hear something?” She looked distinctively at Juliet then turned to Geode. “I hear something..”
Geode nodded and got up, he walked out of the room and looked around, suddenly then, a wolf pushed him down and leaned over his body. Screaming into the air, Geode laid there almost frozen, the wolf just sniffed a bit more tracking Juliet’s scent highly. It turned its head one way, then the other, it let out a bark which got three others to come to his side and jumped over Geode as it had held him down letting the others get to Juliet.
“Miranda!!” Geode screamed. “Run!!” But his call was too late indeed and the wolves were in the room. They had Miranda and Juliet backed up to a wall. One of them with blue eyes looked at Miranda then Juliet and growled snapping at her making her eyes widened with fear, she shook and whined a bit backing away from the wolf. Miranda was frozen pretty bad, she couldn’t move or take her eyes off the one wolf in front of her. “G-Geo-Geode!” she shouted and wanted to begin screaming but that was all too common.
The last wolf, a strange one, went around Geode’s bed to Juliet’s handmade one and saw Daisy, he sniffed it and her having Juliet’s scent he grabbed the arm of the doll in the mouth and jumped on Geode’s bed then ran out of the room passing Geode and the one wolf by but neither moved at his running away.
Juliet saw and shook her head, Daisy meant so much to her, more than any person besides Yuka, she started to take a step but in her action the wolf with devil blue eyes showed his vicious teeth opening his wide mouth and quickly moved it around Juliet’s leg and closed it with a huge snap. He growled at her furiously and pulled her to the ground, she began screaming and forcing her nails into the rug to crawl away but the wolf shook its head pulling her backwards toward the door. She couldn’t stop the wolf as he only gripped her ankle tighter and blood seeped down his unfriendly muzzle.
The wolf watching Miranda growled keeping her at bay, but Miranda saw the one pulling Juliet - why didn’t they pull her? She called out. “Geode! Are they pulling you?” She had much fear in her shaken voice and Geode looked up to see the one wolf’s tail and slowly his back legs, he was forcing something out of the room. “No!” He pushed the wolf on top of him back. “Miranda!” But as he pushed the wolf it only growled sorely at him and watched Juliet’s body be pulled from the room.
“They want her Geode! They came for her!” Miranda was trying to make her way around the wolf as it was just there to block her not attack her, she moved her head back and forth watching Juliet escape the room by the wolf’s force. Juliet’s eyes met Miranda’s for a mere second and slow agonizing pain filled Miranda’s heart, Juliet’s eyes were blue crystals of sadness, she looked at Miranda like as if she was going to die, for Miranda to save her, for someone to save her. Soon after, Miranda still frozen, Juliet was pulled out of the room.
“No!!” Miranda cried but didn’t move, she was frozen still but felt strong. “Geode stop them! Stop them! They only came for her!”

Geode rose up as the wolf passed him pulling Juliet down the steps to her doom far away. He growled. “Leave her alone!” He got up running to the wolf and pushed the wolf with all he could and bended down grabbing Juliet’s arm and pulled her to him in one quick pull, it moved the wolf but not her ankle from his mouth. “Get off!!” He shouted then kicked the wolf in its muzzle and in its pain, it released Juliet’s leg. The two wolves by Geode growled and snapped showing their teeth, one’s was bloody from biting Juliet but soon their ears went up along with Juliet’s as the wolf who took Daisy was howling for them all to come back to the lab. The one in the room with Miranda turned and ran immediately and same with the one who tackled Geode. But the last one, who bore Juliet’s blood gave them a cold stare and growl, showing his evil eyes to Geode, who got a weird vibe. At first Geode flinched and gulped but then was relieved with a sigh when the wolf turned reluctantly and ran off following its friends.
Geode looked at Juliet who was just looking up past him, thinking. “You ok?” She was shaking, her hands were trembling and she was scared much to even move, the wolves, she noticed were like her. And they attacked her as well as many normal people did, all she can think of is….who can she trust? He saw and began pulling her to him for a small hug. “Well you’re ok now.” He smiled politely and just held her for a second taking in the sweet smell of her hair. He had no real idea why he was but he was getting attached to her, she wasn’t a stranger anymore, she was a friend.
Juliet had let him hug her but wasn’t even sure what to do, she at first was scared but then her heart calmed and the beat rested a bit. She did smile, a beautiful small smile. Juliet hadn’t smiled for years, she had no reason to. She pulled from his hug leaving a bit of her smile before it faded so he could see it.
“Yeah?” He asked her as she pulled away and she put her hand on her bleeding ankle and looked at Geode with a painful look. “You’re hurt.” He looked at her ankle a bit then over to Miranda who was out of the room watching them with careful eyes. “Get some water and a rag quickly.” He commanded from Miranda who stuttered then nodded. “Right!” She ran off to the bathroom and grabbed a rag clean from the drawer and soaked and soaped it up and quickly ran back. She wasted no time getting to Juliet’s side and put the rag to the wound which Juliet winced groaning from pain. Miranda did the best she could in cleaning it then kept it there as she faced Geode. “She needs a bandage too.” Geode’s eyes were on Juliet for a while, he heard his sister and came back from his thoughts and got up and went to the bathroom like Miranda did. He wandered to the cabinet above the sink and opened it. Medicine, gauze, floss, a lot of things wandered their themselves and claimed it a resting place themselves. He reached up to a thick roll of bandages and pulled them down and raced out to Juliet and Miranda. “Alright.” He took some and ripped it off its roll and wrapped it around her ankle as Miranda moved the rag and tied it in a tight double knotted bow.
Juliet watched then slowly looked up at them. She had learned from Geode a hug and pulled Miranda over to Geode. At first the siblings just looked at her but stopped and placed one of their hands on her back as Juliet’s arms went around them both putting them in a hug.
Geode smiled a bit as Miranda did but something hit Geode and he pulled from Juliet and looked at her. “We never did learn. What is your name?”

Trotting on wet ground, sniffing the moist air and leading each other, they got back to the truck outside the lab. Saki and Kaito stood seeing the wolves return one after the other. “Well they didn’t bring her.” Saki said somewhat disappointed.
“Yes but…” Kaito saw the wolf with Daisy and pet him to make him release the doll. He took it and held it high to Saki. “What’s this thing?”
“Some doll. Its unimportant.” Saki said then took a pause and looked at the one wolf, the only wolf with a bloody muzzle. “I think he had something or someone. Then they escaped.”
Kaito looked at the wolf for a bit. “Didn’t they specifically go after her? What if that blood is hers and the doll is to give us a clue?”
Saki shook his head. It just didn’t make sense to him, the wolves had one order, to find Juliet and bring her back. Yes they could of found her, but they should of brought her.
“Ahhh.” Said a proud and loud voice behind them. “My my, those wolves are a piece of work!” Mr. Kuso said walking down to Saki and Kaito. His eyes went to the doll Kaito was holding. “They found Juliet, very nice.”
“Bu-But sir! That’s only a doll.” Saki shouted confused and very unsure of what Mr. Kuso was speaking about.
“My dear friend, of course the wolves found her.” He took the doll from Kaito and held it face forward in front of him. “This is the doll Yuka had given Juliet long ago and she escaped with it. They found her.” He looked over at the one wolf with the blood stained muzzle. “He bit her and probably tried to bring her here.” Mr. Kuso smiled. “This is a great accomplishment.”
Saki and Kaito looked at each other with confused eyes, Kaito rubbed his head. “How exactly is it an accomplishment sir?” He asked Mr. Kuso politely and watched as Mr. Kuso put the doll down by his side and looked at him.
“Well this doll is the closest thing to Juliet, she adores it. She’ll come looking for it once she realizes its gone.”
Saki smiled now understanding and nodded briefly. “Yes sir, what should we do in the meantime?”
“Well our creator of Juliet, John, needs help in getting some new arrangements for her captivity when she gets back. We need to hold her here and kill her as soon as possible. You two will remain here with us and help us.”
Kaito was shocked but nodded. “Yes sir. But..”
“But?” Mr. Kuso repeated not giving Kaito enough time to finish.
“Do we know her weakness?”
Mr. Kuso looked up at the sky. “Its going to rain again soon, I think it had stopped for a bit.” He looked back at them. “As a weakness, no, I do not know of any, John might however and this is why we need to help. This world believe it or not, is much safer if she’s dead and not alive anymore to ruin the lives and murder one person after the next. Who knows if she killed anyone recently. That’s why we must stop her. To protect the world.”
He said then stopped and let silence drop down on them. He turned his back to them. “Who knew the thing we created to save the world would actually murder it?”
He began walking slowly back into the building as if thinking. Kaito waited then looked at Saki, Saki nodded shortly and then began walking.
Kaito turned and put the wolves back into the truck then followed shortly after he watched Saki disappear from the outside.

She tapped her pen on the desk making the point appear then disappear. She stared at a picture of Juliet on the wall, it was bulletined there. A white piece of paper it was, with the picture of the blonde haired demon, 17, bows at the side of her ears and her hair covering her eyes. Yuka looked down from the picture unsure of what to do. The office door to her room where she sat was open and she could hear the steps of Mr. Kuso walk by. She turned her head while it laid on her hand to the doorway and watched Mr. Kuso walk by, doll in his hand. She at first didn’t believe it. “Da…” She looked at it for a while, stared at it really unbelieving that it was what she thought. She raced to the doorway just as Mr. Kuso was passing by.
“Mr. Kuso!” She called turned to him, Saki and Kaito were shortly just behind her. “That’s…her doll.”
He froze stopping than nodded slowly. “Yes it is.”
Yuka’s eyes widened. This was one of her biggest worries, if they found Juliet, they don’t care if they made her a monster, they would end her life just how they begun it….if they knew a way.
“Did…..” She gulped and continued. “Did…they find her?” She knew of the wolves and their presence and was scared they could of murdered Juliet.
Mr. Kuso just stood for a while but then nodded. “They found her. But..” He raised the doll to his side so Yuka could clearly see it. “They only brought the doll and some of her blood back. Relax Yuka, it isn’t time to worry yet.” He put his arm down and continued walking, the guys passed Yuka and followed him.
Yuka waited until they were out of sight then had a sigh of relief. “Thank you.” She put her hand, balled to a fist, to her heart and smiled. “That is great…she’s…alive.”
But the words Mr. Kuso said stroke her. ‘and some of her blood back.’
She let out a gasp. “They…” Her eyes widened in some fear and she was shocked. “They attacked her..” She turned running into her office and grabbed the paper that hung onto the wall. Yuka took no time in this. She had to find Juliet right away and hide her in a safe place where no one could reach her.
She pulled on her lab coat and with paper in hand she walked out of her door slowly so to alarm no one. She waited until she made it to the front door of the lab and ran outside.

The sky it was dark and gray and very appealing to the eyes of sadness some people were born with. Gloomy some say, beautiful others say. You never know what the person next to you is thinking of it, until they let it all out. Yuka ran around, the rain had stopped for the bit and she was safe as long as she made her journey quick. She ran up to the truck outside and got in. “You.” She looked at the dog with the bloody muzzle. “Find her for me. Please.” She grabbed its leash and put its collar on him, attaching the leash to it and pulled it out the front seat. “Find her for me!”
The wolf sniffed the air and looked around. He began barking in one general direction then pulled Yuka down an alley and up a street. The dog, its eyes blood lusted and muzzle still covered in it ran and pulled Yuka to the beach. She looked around holding the picture. “Well…” She was about to say Juliet was absent there but then moved her head and saw the huge mansion by the beach. It was her best bet. She gulped unsure if Juliet was here or even safe if she was here.
She kneeled by the wolf and looked into its eyes. “Go back to the truck were your brothers are and stay there.” The wolf looked at her, obedient to all orders, he barked then ran by her down the same alleys and streets in which he used to take her here.
Yuka, still kneeling, looked at Juliet’s picture once more then up at the mansion as the dark wind from the sky blew her short hair from her face and moved the picture a bit. She slowly stood up and began walking toward the great house.
Yuka made it to the door of the house, its white scenery with gold ribbons painted on it with gold handles. She put her hand to the door and slowly made it into a fist and was about to knock. She didn’t and just leaned her head on the door along with her fist and thought about everything….if this was the right choice or not.

“Do you have a name?” They were still in the stairway and Geode was looking at Juliet, all sitting still in a small circle. He had asked her that.
She looked at him to Miranda then slowly back to him and nodded. She had a name and she knew it very well.
“Well….-” He was cut off by a knock at the door. They all jumped, the echoing memory of those wolves attacking were still playing in their heads as if they were still here. “Miranda!” He looked at her and grabbed her shoulders. “Take Juliet into my room and keep her in there ok? I don’t know whose at the door but if its those wolves or their owner this could be bad you got me?” Miranda’s eyes were shaking looking past and through Geode but soon they stopped trembling and she looked at him meeting his eyes. Wolves? Knocking? Then she thought on how they must of gotten in the first time, maybe broke the window down and this time they were trying to break the door down. After a minute of thinking Miranda nodded and stood up. “Come on!” She pulled Juliet up and pulled her into Geode’s room and locked the door.
Juliet had looked at Geode as this was happening, she heard what he said and understood something, he was trying to protect her. As she got into that room with Miranda she stood and thought about that behavior. It was one thing to be nice, it was another thing to protect her life, especially when she was a danger to the world and she alone, knew that.

Geode got up and rushed downstairs. He started walking toward the door as he heard knocking again. Looking around and down, he was careful of his steps as he saw broken glass shattered on the floor all around. The wolves bashed through the window to get in. He quickly pushed the glass away from the middle of the floor to the sides and in result a few cuts appeared on his hand. He winced as it bled and pulled part of his shirt in hand to stop the blood flow for the moment.
Putting his hand slowly on the door he thought about it for a moment then opened it to see a red haired woman standing in a lab coat. She had something in her hand and her eyes were facing down then she moved them up to him. “Oh..” She said looking at Geode. She had not known that was John’s kid as she never met him but noticed he was only a teen. “I’m sorry to trouble you at this late hour.” She said politely but Geode smiled a bit nicely after taking a breathe of relief that it wasn’t the wolves or anything too dangerous…from the looks of her.
“Oh…what can I help you with?” He asked her noticing the paper in her hand. “Everything alright miss?” Yuka’s eyes met his and she nodded. “Yes, everything is fine. I just wanted to know if you saw her.”
She held out the paper with Juliet’s picture on it. “She’s missing. Have you seen her?”
Geode’s eyes widened and his heart seemed to skip beats. His head began to get hot and sweat almost rolled down it as his eyes looked at the picture of Juliet. He could tell it was her despite not seeing her eyes and he took a step back. *What does this lady want with her?*
“I….I…um…” He stuttered a bit. “What’s wrong is she in danger or something?” He asked looking from the picture to Yuka.
Yuka didn’t want to lie and soon tipped her head down letting her hair cover her eyes. “She is in some danger yes. Have you seen her?”
She looked back up at him a bit sternly for a real answer.
Geode was just looking at her, he didn’t know what to say or what to do even but he knew she knew something about Juliet.
“What’s her name?” He gulped out and she sighed. “You haven’t seen her have you then?” She took a breathe in as if she was integrating this boy for answers and wasn’t getting through, which she truly wasn’t.
“Her name is Juliet and I’m one of the people who look after and take care of her.”
“O…Oh.” He said in reply. *So that’s her name.*
Yuka looked at Geode for a long time, she felt he knew something about Juliet, something he was hiding but it also seemed obvious by his words that he didn’t know well or much.
“Here.” She pulled out something from her pocket and Geode took a step outside to receive it. A small blank card and took out her pen and wrote on it. Soon after she made a dot at the end and clicked her pen she handed it to him.
“If you find her. Let me know, ok?”
“Uh….uh huh.” Geode said nodded with his mouth open a bit to make words as he took the card and looked down at it with his green red eyes. His hair, jet black, moved in the wind as he watched Yuka smile and turn and walk off. He couldn’t help but stare at the moving paper still in her hand. The one with Juliet’s picture on it.
He looked down at the card and read it to himself, the number than her name: Yuka. He nodded. “Maybe she can give some answers…”
He put the card in his pocket and walked back inside and shut the door on the cold night.

Chapter 6 ~~~ (EDIT)

Geode leaned on the door for a second as he closed it, his eyes were peering down at his hand which was swiftly pulling the card from his pocket. He looked at the name then the number and sighed. “I don’t know if I really should trust you…but..” He looked up then over at the stairs. “I don’t really know her life…” Slowly he leaned away from the door and started walking up the steps until he reached the very end to them and walked in the hallway to his room.
He knocked on the door. “Hey its me, its alright, it was just a lady….” He took a brief pause. “She’s gone.”
After a few moments the clicks of the lock could be heard and the door was whisked open, Miranda stood at its base. “You ok?” She gently asked her brother who just put hand through his hair and walked into the room with a slight nod. Steadily he made his way to his bed and sat down on it noticing Juliet was laying on it in a bit of curl, her eyes were closed but as she felt the pressure of the bed she opened her eyes looking at him. He turned to her, putting his feet on the bed but his hand was holding the card as his eyes stared down onto it.
“Is your name Juliet?” He asked solemnly as if he knew her name all along, slowly after he asked it his eyes turned to her. Juliet seemed to jump a bit but she leaned up and went to his side and nodded.
“You name is Juliet?”
Juliet nodded once more and Geode smiled a bit. “Lovely name.” His eyes moved back to the card as he smiled. “Do you know a Yuka?”
Juliet tipped her head a bit and looked at the card. She didn’t look as if she could read it though but she nodded looking up at Geode from the card with gray blue eyes.
“Is she a friend of your’s?” He asked her getting the feeling that he should of told Yuka he had seen Juliet.
Juliet nodded right away, it wasn’t a question. Yuka was one of the only people Juliet trusted and knew and deep down she missed being at the lab, for when she was there, she had someone to make her days better.
Geode sighed then smiled. “Alright I’ll call her tomorrow.” He said to Juliet and watched her smile a bit. He felt a happy inside like this was something he needed to do, find this girl and help her get back home, but pain struck him as he shook pulling his bleeding hand insight of the girls.
“Ouch…” He winced as the blood was running out of his hand, Miranda looked at him alarmed. “Hold on brother I’ll get a rag and bandages!” She quickly turned and ran out of the room.
Juliet stared at the bleeding hand, her head tipped a bit and she remembered the red liquid coming out of her and how much it hurt. She looked sadly up at him and her ears went into a sad low position, for a moment she felt something different and grabbed his wrist. She looked at the cut and put his hand to her face and licked the blood and cut. Geode just watched her with wide eyes then after a while he smiled knowing why.
Miranda came running in with a wet rag and saw what Juliet was doing, her heart was beating so fast from seeing Geode bleed that she didn’t see what Juliet was doing being helpful at all.
“Get away from my brother!” She screamed with an angry tone and pushed Juliet hard away from Geode. “Its ok brother..” She quickly pressed the rag to Geode’s palm, water and alcohol rested on the rag cleaning and disinfecting the wound.
When Juliet was pushed she was thrown off the bed and Geode had watched the whole time. “Sister…she was trying to help.”
“Yeah but she wasn’t and you were bleeding so bad!” Miranda said in a anxious tone. “You ok? You ok bro!?” Geode nodded barely looking at Miranda, his eyes went from Juliet to his hand. “I’m fine.” He swiftly took his hand from her reach and went to the edge of the bed. “Juliet…?”

He looked down over the edge to see Juliet face down on the floor, her face leaning on her arms and sobs could be heard.
“You hurt her Miranda..” Geode gently put his arm down to calm Juliet but as she felt him she jumped and showed them her sad tearing eyes. She got up crying more and was barely able to stand.
“Juliet….I’m..” Miranda started walking to her with her hand out trying to make an apology, but it was too late, the damage was done. Juliet had the thought clear in her head. Everyone treated her different as if she was a freak, she couldn’t help but feel so hated, it wasn’t going to be too long before Geode and Miranda take out guns and start shooting her.
“Juliet…” Miranda got close. “Sweetie..” Her rainbow eyes were set on Juliet’s blue ones, she wanted to grab Juliet and pull her into a hug and explain how she was trying to help her brother, but she didn’t know just how far she had gotten. Juliet started crying horrifically, she knew she didn’t belong here and she never did, no one understood her, not even she did. She backed up from Miranda then as Geode started to get off the bed she ran out of the room in tears and before they knew it a bang was heard at the front door and Juliet must of gotten herself out somehow.
“I…” Geode began, his voice was filled with curious and unspoken words and was unsure of any move he’d make. “Don’t know if I should go after her or not…” He was off the bed and started heading to the door.
Miranda looked down. “Its because of me isn’t it? I didn’t mean it Geode honest…..I…I…” She sounded as if she was going to break out in tears as well but her eyes wouldn’t have it. Geode looked at her, his eyes just went through her for a second but then he reached a hand out to her. “I know Miranda..” He looked up at her as she did him and he showed a small smile. “I understand….” He paused. “Even if she doesn’t…”
Its true, Juliet didn’t understand at all…what was she to do? Geode was hurt and Juliet just did what she thought was right, it wasn’t of much help though and that’s why Miranda pushed her away.
“I will go looking for her though….” Geode turned back to the door. “If dad comes, stall him and I’ll come through the back with her.”
Miranda watched her brother dash out of the room without a second thought. “Right..” She said and looked down at the made bed for Juliet and noticed she had left Daisy behind.
He raced down the steps as if in some game and slipped on shoes. He bit his lip as he saw the front door open, he quickly ran outside to the porch and looked around.
“JULIET!” He called loud so it rang across the streets. “JULIET!!” He got no reply and saw no one in sight, he wished she would run back if she heard her name but that wouldn’t always happen. He looked down for a split second as his heart raced, he shut the door and ran off looking for her, determined to find her.

It seemed as if John could never get a break, he watched Yuka return from her scouting. “Yuka where did you go?” He noticed the picture in her hand and sighed. “I see you went looking for the monster..”
Yuka didn’t like him much anymore and hated how cruel his comments about Juliet were, she walked over to her desk and put the paper down slamming her hand. “That’s enough! SHE’S the innocent human being YOU’RE the monster!” Her voice rang out and she stared at John as his eyes matched hers. Slowly drawing her breathe back from her screaming, she seemed as if she was waiting for a reply but when she didn’t get one she continued. “You made her who she is….she didn’t ask for any of it!”
John stared at her for the longest second then shrugged. “No….but we all did this together, don’t blame me just because your attached to her Yuka….if I remember correctly…you were the one who raised her for a bit and even held her after she was born, you contribute to her life as well.”
Her mouth was about to open but stopped and Yuka looked down. “I know…its true….but I want her to live….without fear.”
“Then…” John began as he walked over to her, he hugged Yuka with his strong arms and thing body. “We will get her back ok Yuka?” He let her go and sighed. “This will be done my way though so don’t get in the middle of it and maybe she’ll live.”
Yuka couldn’t fight it….she was alone on Juliet’s side while everyone else was against her. “John, promise me you won’t kill her….just find a cure or help her control her powers! She deserves to live..”
John looked at her then turned his back to leave. “If she is good for us and causes no trouble….then I’ll consider it.” He started walking out of the room. “We’ll speak on this subject later Yuka, right now my children need to have their father with them.” He left the room and shut the door behind him sighing. He never wanted to give Juliet the chance at a real life but if Yuka is the only one who can get her back, he must play by her rules first, then his.
Yuka sat down after he left and thought. If it wasn’t for her Juliet would be dead, but John was right, Yuka pretty much raised her and was so attached to Juliet as if she was her own child. She looked down at the picture of Juliet on the desk and held her hair in her hands in a gripping motion. “Why Juliet….you’re so sweet…why can’t they see what I see?” She began to cry and tears dropped onto the paper in a slow motion. Images replayed in Yuka’s mind over and over. “If they were just nicer to you…and treated you like I did…..that’s why you never hurt me….that’s why…an attack never hit me….” She slammed her hands down as she removed them from her hair. “Its because you knew I understood you and loved you….but these others are all cruel…kill them all Juliet.” She spoke strong even though to herself, she didn’t really want Juliet killing anyone but its not right for them to attack Juliet for one reason, for one thing she can’t even control, that she didn’t even want or ask for, she was born with it.
“You’ll be alright….I’m on your side…I’m on your side..” Yuka wiped the tears off her face and put the picture away preparing to take it out again tomorrow and go searching for Juliet more. For a second, she remembered that boy she met, the one she gave her card to. Geode. Sure she didn’t know his name, but she remembered his house and his attitude. He knew more than what he was saying, and she thought he’d be the best lead to try and find Juliet. “Well..” She said getting up out of her chair and fixing her hair. “I need to speak to that boy once more.”

She was sitting down crying, in a little curled position as if she had no real way to hide. Her ears, golden and scared laid low into her hair, her eyes were down staring into the wondering black ground as for a hope of a new way, but none would ever come. Her blonde hair was down by her side and behind her past her elbows but not much farther, and the sundress was wrinkled by how the child sat.
Juliet rubbed her eyes, red and her cheeks were stained with what seemed to be her endless tears. Sitting she faced the truth, she just wasn’t good enough, she would hear that each day, more and more from them, them at the lab. She wanted to stop crying but some tears wouldn’t stop. Her hands shook as she looked around her, she was somewhere dark and damp, the walls were blackened with dirt and ruin and the floor and ceiling were cracked to the hundreds. The building she was in was open and that’s how she ran in to begin with, it was just to hide and maybe sleep, as she had no where else to go. The rain had been over and it was about midnight.
What you don’t see cannot hurt you correct? His stubby little legs trotted down the street with his owner, pulling him by the leash. “Ugh! Moko! Stop!” The boy had blue hair and blue eyes, his black outfit and jacket covered him from the cold wind. He pulled the dog to a stop before the lamppost and street. “Moko you need to calm down more.” He told the tricolor corgi that rested by his side. Dason began to sigh but then screamed as Moko pulled him across the street with his ear’s up high. Moko began barking and pulled Dason into a damp and cold building.
“Moko! Ugh! What’s gotten into you?!” He then stopped yelling at the dog as he saw a beautiful blonde haired girl with blue eyes huddled by the corner wiping her eyes from the tears she made. Dason looked down at her, his heart was unsettled by this. “Hello?” He said in almost a whisper but in the quite comfort of the damp walls it echoed and Juliet’s ears and her head went up almost sending Dason in a shock of aghast. “Thoseeeee?! What are those?!” He pointed shaking, at her ears but all Juliet did was look at him for a second and saw his finger pointing at her, it made her easily different. Tears welled up in her eyes and she put her head in her hands and started crying again. Dason stopped pointing seeing no threat in her especially as Moko ran to her side and licked her hands but she kept crying.
“Hey…” He walked over slowly to her and kneeled down in front of her. “Hey…” He gently grabbed her bangs in his hand and moved them from her face. “Stop crying…”
She sniffled and looked up at him, her eyes met his but she just looked back down again with them sparkling from her exhausted tears.
“That’s it…” Dason smiled. “Now, what are you doing here? Why aren’t you home?”
Juliet just slowly looked up at him and moved her shoulders shrugging, she had no home…or an idea of what a home was.

Geode ran around screaming her name but stopped after and took a breathe by a street sign. “You have to be here…or around here.” He looked around in the dark and hoped for the best. “Juliet..” He held his head, feeling as if his head was spinning but he couldn’t control it any. Geode felt it was his fault she left, he knew by Yuka that Juliet was in a type of danger, she was wanted and she didn’t want to be found by them, or anyone really. She didn’t even say her name, Geode had to find it out. She was so mysterious and yet it seemed like sometimes her story could be written by her expressions.
Geode looked down sighing, he wouldn’t give up but he didn’t know where to look now. He took in a deep breathe and his hair and clothes moved with a swoosh as he saw a figure out of the side of his eye. He moved his head toward it and saw it slowly walking to him. He wanted to scream ‘Juliet!’, his mind was telling him to do so but he didn’t. Then the figure came clearer to him as it got closer. “Dad…?”

Chapter 7 - EDIT
(This is one of those bad chaptersXD Just got my muse back so yeah..)
Dason gently pulled Juliet up with his dog by his side jumping up and down and running around excited. “He seems to like you.” Dason said to the beautiful girl he looked at. “These are very….interesting.” He gently felt the back of one of her ears, soft and furry. “So real.” Dason exclaimed and deeply thought about how this could of happened to a girl like her. But as he kept touching her she shook her head and took a step back, she didn’t know who he was yet or where he came from. “Hey…” He said seeing her pull away, in most fear. “My name is Dason.” Slowly he held his hand out to her as he heard the rain beginning to fall again. Juliet looked down at it and thought of Geode and Miranda, what had happened to Geode because of her, she didn’t mean it but all she did was get yelled at for a mistake.
Her hand shook like it was going to fall, fingers moved without warning as she placed her hand in his. She looked up at him, seeing his grand smile, she just looked down. “Well…” He said taking tight hold of her hand. “We have to get you home right? Or to a place with some shelter.” Juliet looked all around and pointed, she could stay here, this was shelter, this was safe, this was all she had. “No.” Dason shook his head as if she had made a huge error. “This is a good place to sleep or anything, you need a nice house and a nice bed ok?” It wasn’t a choice to him anymore as he began pulling her out of the place, he stopped at the door looking outside, watching the rain fall. Juliet held her other hand out and let raindrops tackle it one by one, she liked that feeling. She caught her own tears that way. Moko wagged his nub of a tail then barked happily at it. Dason just watched the movement’s Juliet made then pulled her out of the building, leaving its dark depressing walls behind.

“Father?” Geode asked as his dad walked up to him, pulled out an umbrella and put it over his son’s head, Geode was slightly taller than his father. “Geode, what are you doing out here?” Oh the normal, looking for a girl with wolf ears that tried to help him. What would Geode’s dad say to him if he found out? From what Geode thought, he’d flip and call his son crazy, from what Geode didn’t know was that his father would be happy to know the savage girl was found and run off by his son, it wouldn’t go after him or Miranda, which was one of John’s biggest fears. “Geode you should go back inside.” His tense voice quickly blurred out. “Now.” He paused then said: “Please.”
Geode nodded but stayed. “Why?” He thought maybe because of the rain, because of school, what was it because? All he did hear was his father gulp as he looked around. “Its past your bed time, please go back home.” “Aren’t you coming?” He asked his father as he turned around and was about to start walking. However, his father shook his head. “I’ll be home soon, I have to stop at the store.” A complete lie, but what was he going to do? He had nothing else, he was going to come home soon but not as soon as he made Geode thought. “Yeah ok.” Geode started walking away, but only so far away that he was out of his dad’s sight, he wanted to find Juliet, not even knowing where she was or anything, so lost and so different. John stayed for a second thinking, pondering on what he would even do if he found Juliet, she was a killing machine if hurt, but as Yuka told him before, treat her better or take her in her sleep and she can’t hurt them…right? He waited for a while, a answer never came but he needed to do something, standing there wasn’t an option, so he began walking, yes in the direction of a store, but no, it was not his course.

Dason and Juliet, hand and hand walked, almost fast walking in the rain. Geode so far, holding an umbrella looked all over, she was no where. “Juliet!” He shouted and would keep shouting. His screams, they would echo all over in the dusty streets but no reply but of his own returned to him. That’s when it got to her. Dason was pulling Juliet to a house on 7th street, Geode had just passed there calling her name. Her ears twitched with the vibrations of his call and she looked around almost hysterically looking for him. Dason heard him too and stopped. “Geode? That you?” Dason’s voice also echoed and if he didn’t speak, Geode would of never known. “Dason?” He asked quietly to himself as he stopped walking, he waited a second and to make sure he wasn’t just hearing things, he waited for Dason to make a second call.
“Geode!” Dason looked around. “Geode was that you?” He was screaming a girl’s name, why? Geode was a strange boy with his eyes but wasn’t his sister’s name Miranda? Geode’s eyes widened a bit, it was Dason calling him, what was he doing up so late at night? But more importantly, he could help Geode find Juliet, that was the most important thing now. It flowed in his head though that maybe Dason wasn’t one to trust…
“Dason!” He shouted once more and in the mix of it all started pacing to where he thought he was at, so many thoughts running through his head then it went blank and never thought of again.

Juliet whined and pulled away from him, but after seeing her so upset Dason wouldn’t leave her to fend for herself. “Whoa stop!” He kept a hold of her but she started crying again and pulled away more, she could feel the fear rise inside her, it mainly did because after all that happened with Geode she didn’t want to be found. She was afraid to be found. Afraid to be put back where she was, no, no, that wouldn’t happen. Not to her, not now. She pulled away more with force and with her tears came his price.
“AAHHHH!” It seemed to echo through her mind, she shook and watched, never had she see seen what she done to a person her age, it wasn’t supposed to happen…she wasn’t that type. But it did. His arm was clean cut off and he fell holding onto the chunk of it left, he stared up at Juliet with hateful and confused eyes, did she do this? How did it even happen? But all that was felt and known was the excessive pain spreading through his body at the moment and the red running out of the opening all over the street below him as he kneeled. Silent tears strained down his face as the pain increased, her eyes wide with fear. She didn’t mean to….it just happened. Her ears lowered, she had hurt another person. Juliet shook almost violently before crying out in sobs and running off.
“Ouch…*gasp*…how the hell?” He started screaming more before hearing a voice. “Dason!!!!” Geode ran to him, his eyes seemed to be glowing mist like from the rain. “What happened…oh my god….what happened?!”
Dason was in too much pain to really even think, but he cooled down as Geode used Dason’s shirt to wrap up his wounds nicely, so he lost a lot of blood and a arm but he’ll live.
“Dason what happened to you?!”
Dason thought of Juliet but what did she do? How could that even add up….but he wasn’t going to lie, he needed the straight story out there. “Listen this girl…she had wolf ears…I know you’ll think I’m crazy…” Geode’s eyes went wide, Dason had been with Juliet, he nodded. “Yeah? Go on..” Now he really needed to stay. “Well…she starting crying and freaking out when I was trying to help her and she just kept pulling and I don’t even know but my arm ripped clean in half! I don’t think it was her who did it but….I don’t know how it happened.” Geode had tied the knot tightly so the blood would stop and he felt some relief that he was alright for now.
Dason’s words wandered in Geode’s mind. Could Juliet really of done that? That doesn’t sound like her….she was a sweet innocent girl, couldn’t be her…
“I see…come on.” Geode’s mind was on other things but he was very good at multitasking. He pulled Dason up and started walking him to the nearest hospital. He guessed Dason would call his parents and tell them what happened, then he might be stuck there for a while, but at least he’s ok. Geode just pondered walking away from the hospital in the rain, it was light and he didn’t mind it, he was thinking about her, how she tied into it all, it didn’t make sense.
He sighed. She didn’t have a home last time he checked and knowing half the world isn’t safe he needed to get her at least in the house overnight, even if his dad objected. It was storming, he thought, he could make an excuse up just for her to stay overnight in their warm house.

For a few minutes he was so stuck in mind that he was about home, he looked up as the wind hit his face and saw the bright of the mansion in front of him. His eyes shy looking at it he sighed and looked around. Should he keep looking or go to bed? He started walking, hands in pockets, he made up his mind, he’d go to bed and later look for Juliet.

She was crying unlike before, so much more emotion in her, she caused someone to lose a limb and she had no where else to go but here. She didn’t know a place but here. So she sat on the side of it looking out, tears falling from her face to the unforgiving ground below. Sniffling and holding her head, rubbing her ears, anything to calm her down, but she couldn’t do it, she heard his scream, she knew he was like her in some ways and it hurt badly. Juliet looked up, through her teary eyes she could see a figure walking toward her, she knew it was going to happen… She stood up clutching onto the side of the house and watched him come closer. He looked at her and for a while their eyes met. “Juliet?” Geode asked. Juliet’s heart pounded and pounded and Geode began to have a headache from all these sudden emotions. She gulped a bit and nodded as he began to walk to her, shortly it turned into a run as he could sense her tears and fear. Quickly she was pulled into a hug. “Its ok.” He said trying to stop her from moving, from running away and from crying anymore. “I know you didn’t do it…you didn’t do it. Any of it.”

He pulled the bulked up covers over her and placed the doll beside her where it belonged. Geode smiled a bit, Miranda had apologized to Juliet and they both were lightly sleeping. John must of still been out but Geode didn’t care at the point. He sat by the man made bed on the floor and gently put his hands through Juliet’s hair. She was different, so different. Did she have a family? Anything? At all? This girl didn’t even have clothes on her back but she had a doll….a mysterious doll. He sighed looking down, it all happened too quickly, what about school? Could she go with him?
“Geode?” He heard his sister say. “Why are you still up?” She was yawning, must of woken up from a bad dream, she came from her room to his and sat on his bed. Geode shook his head. “It makes me think. She has to have a home right?” He looked back at Miranda who leaned up. “Yeah she should.” “But..” Geode said looking at Juliet for a second more before looking back at Miranda. “She came to us.”
A long silence came into the room after Geode spoke, he was watching as Miranda had that look in her eye, she was thinking. “Fate maybe? Maybe something is going on at her home where she needed to find someone to help her?”
“Maybe….” Geode said then laid down and started to fall asleep. “We’ll…talk about it…tomorrow..” He drifted off into sleep and his sister did as well, they were all tired from the day, so long and exhausting.

‘Geode…’ He ran to the voice in the field, the rose field, it seemed to distant but so close. He thought it was his mother, he barely remembered her voice, but it felt so like it. ‘Geode…’ Suddenly the field left him all alone in darkness. The voice left and it was silent…for the moment. He looked like he was trying to speak, trying to shout for help or for something….someone. After a second of looking around, a scream entered his mind, followed by what felt like a million voice. ‘Help’ . One more scream, then it was over.
His eyes shot open. He looked up at the ceiling under which he was laying. “Mom…” He said to himself and looked down. “Just a dream…she’s not alive anymore…” He said so low not to wake the girls in the room with him. “I miss you mom..” He knew for only a shot time but he knew what it felt like when she was around. He started crying and rolled over to push himself up but then realized his hands clutched sheets that laid under him. “Huh…?” He looked around and saw Juliet nowhere in sight. “Juliet?” He got up and saw Miranda still sleeping, carefully he tiptoed out of the room and looked around. “Juliet?” He said in almost a whisper. He looked around the steps and saw no one, but heard a bit of a commotion on the first floor. He walked down the steps and looked around, he saw his father and a couple of his peers together talking. “Dad..?” Geode walked in rubbing his eyes like he just woke up, which he really did. “Whats going on?”
He looked around. “Is everything ok?” He asked and watched his dad turn to him. “Yes….are you ok son? Are you injured?”
“Injured..? No why?”
“There was this…..monster in your room.” It sounded such like a father talking to his 3 year old son.
“Monster?” Geode gulped right there.
“Yes.” His father nodded. “But we got her and she won’t hurt you..”
He could feel himself sweat and his breathing got a bit deeper. “W…wh…what monster?”
His father sighed and looked down, he moved back and pointed to Juliet. She was laying on the floor, her body was under a few SWAT member’s who were holding her down. You could see the fear in her fight, she moved like she was going to die by them.
Juliet moved her head over hearing Geode’s voice and looked at him with devastating eyes. She was on the verge of tears. Help, was all she wanted now.
“Father…that’s just an innocent girl..”
“Why was she in your room Geode?” John changed the subject. “I..” Geode looked at John for a second. “Father she was lost I was trying to help her…please let her go she didn’t do anything wrong.”
That’s when Geode noticed the red head girl behind his father. Yuka. He looked at her for a while. “You…” He said but John wasn’t too much paying attention. “Get her in the truck and back to the lab.” He ordered the men and they nodded with their: “Yes sir.” solute and started pulling her up. She pulled away screaming and crying. It was like with Dason, but these guys were more prepared….for a while longer to last.
“No!” Geode grabbed his dad’s arm. “No don’t make them take her away father!” He didn’t even think of John being attached to the lab eve though he said it, but a lab was no place for a human….cruel things could happen.
Yuka watched it unfold, she saw what Geode was doing, trying to sway his father from giving Juliet to them…brave, she wondered, since she couldn’t change John’s mind, can Geode?

Chapter 8 - EDIT

It happened too fast, the blood and bullets fired in the air, as they ran her hair was almost touched by a bullet. Geode had did the unbelievable, but it was to save someone innocent. He pushed his father down and punched one of the guards. “Juliet!” He screamed pulling her up to him but one of the guards still had her down, all Geode remembered after that was the guard’s head being cut off and Juliet, her back soaked with blood, was up by Geode’s side. For a moment there was just amazement, however the next moment the guard held his gun up to Geode. As his hand shook he made threats.
“You have no idea who she is kid! She’ll kill you…Move!” Geode shook his head, the blood, the decapitated solider was in his thoughts. “Fine…” As the guard was about to shoot him John hit the gun down and Geode pulled Juliet away and started running to the door with her. “Come on! Hurry!”
“Don’t hit my son!” John screamed but watched as they started running. “Aim for her….just aim for her!” Shots went off like a madman. Barely missing Juliet they just hit the wall and broken the glass sliding door. Juliet was swiftly pulled outside by Geode and tugging her by her wrist he pulled her around his house. The waves of the beach crashed on beach as Geode held her, his hand slipped from her wrist to her hand and he ran as fast as he could. The sand trapped their footprints, capturing evidence they were there. Geode didn’t even think of it, he knew it would be ok soon as he pulled her onto the stone covered ground leading to the streets and buildings of the city they lived in. Juliet’s heart paced as they ran, her eyes and hands shaking and she could barely feel her grip on Geode’s hand.
She felt so light headed, it all rushed and she could barely keep up with his running. She groaned a bit as they turned a corner to a more busy street, yes it was early morning and in daylight no crime would really happen….
“Its ok….you’r-” Geode started to say but he felt a pull and heard a noise and turned around. Juliet behind him was laying, in a almost curled position. She was gasping and her eyes, half open right in front of her, couldn’t see anything but blurs.
“Juliet..” He walked in front of her and go to his knees, putting a hand under her chin and slightly he pulled her head up so she would see him. “Are you ok? I know that was a lot…but every bullet missed us! All of them..”

“Cut in half.” The guard picked up the remains of the bullets. “She’s still powerful!” He turned to John who was in a bit of deep thought, they never left the house, they wanted too but it would only cause more of a scene. The guard put the halves of the bullet in his face. “You see what she does now!” He yelled then through them down and pointed outside behind him. “And now your son is out there with her! WITH HER!” He growled then looked down at the blood from the deceased’s head. “We need back up….now.” The man walked by John, almost pushing him aside and went to the other room.
“What now…?” John looked up and asked Yuka, her blood red hair moved a bit out of her face with the help from the wind the newly broken door provided. “What now..?” John was so dazed, his son pushed him and knocked him away, the son he raised! To save a monster…how dare he.
“You have no say John.” Yuka started walking toward the back door that Juliet and Geode left by. “Your son is doing a good deed….stopping the death of someone who can’t control whats wrong with them!” She shouted opening the door with a bang only to chip off some of the remaining glass. She walked outside and slammed it shut, a small smile on her face appeared as she left. She was happy they got away and knowing Juliet if she had something close to her, she would protect it with her life.
“Like she did with Daisy.” She hid it in her arms. The doll, brown hair and blue eyes. So beautiful. “You’ll be safe Geode.” She started walking toward the city.

In public it just seemed so awkward. Juliet looked at Geode, her eyes still at their half setting but she could only see a blur, a mix of his colors as him. It was like she was underwater and looking up. That’s what she saw. She heard him speak but couldn’t make out the words. Juliet raised her left hand up, she fell on her right side after they stopped walking. She put her hand on his arm then moved it up to his shoulder and pulled him a bit closer as he talked. But he was done by then, his cheeks went a bit red at her touch and he just stared at her features, she didn’t look ok.
The awkward silence of the moment ended when Geode gulped. “Did they hurt you?” He couldn’t get out of his mind how the one guard died, it was so strange…what happened? Maybe a gun went off or….it was too much a mystery.

Juliet nodded her head, they leaned on her when they were holding her down and her back hurt slightly, not the best feeling. “I’m sorry..” Geode said sadly and lifted his hand up. “Tell me if it hurts..” He put his hand on her arm, he was trying to find where she was hurting so he could help. Geode soon moved his hand to the side of her back, the pain wasn’t truly there so Juliet waited.
An increasing pain happened when he got to almost the middle, Juliet gripped his shoulder and screamed. Geode quickly moved his hand. “Damn…that’s where they held you down..” The flashback came in his mind then he quickly shook his head and looked at her. “Can you walk?”
Juliet, her back was too hurt to try to move it, so she shook her head. Geode sighed, there was only one thing he could do now. “I’ll carry you on my back alright?” Gently, he took her wrists and pulled her up, Juliet shut her eyes tight and cringed a bit. “You can do it..” Juliet was starting to tear up but it didn’t show, she wasn’t sure what to really do but she stopped it and opened her eyes, she saw better. She could see his face and beautiful black hair, along with Geode’s amazing eyes.

“You got it?” Geode asked with a slight smile to see if she was ok like that or if her back hurt too much from it. Juliet smiled small but nodded and kept her one hand on his shoulder to keep her balanced.
“Alright, now get behind me and put your other hand on my other shoulder.” He turned so his back faced her, but it confused her for a second she had her left hand on his right shoulder and had to move it to the other shoulder, soon she was holding onto both of his.
“Alright hold me tight and just relax alright?” He put his hands behind him and felt the back of her knees soon enough.
Quickly he jumped up grabbed her and holding onto her as he did. “See, that wasn’t so hard.” He turned his head to her and smiled. “You’ll be alright.” He said in a sweet voice and started walking down the block with her. It was pretty busy but not a lot of people were in his way.

They were just walking a while, only a few minutes before Geode had to adjust Juliet so he could continue, when she was where he could carry her without really hurting his back too he continued walking. “I have one more question….ok maybe more than one but one main one. Do you ever talk?”
No one really asked Juliet that before, she knew words, she knew some things and she could definitely speak if she wanted to. She didn’t know though. Geode was the only person to treat her like a real human being, he gave her clothes and a place to stay. He saved her from his father and possibly from death. Geode was Juliet’s hero.

“I….do.” Juliet said for the first time in awhile, her voice wasn’t scratchy like a normal voice would be if someone didn’t talk for a while. It was sweet and kind. As Geode heard it, he almost jumped not recognizing her voice. He liked it though, it had an innocent touch, like a child’s.
“You have a really cute voice, I like it.” Geode smiled a bit and waited for her to talk more, he wanted to hear her again.
“Thanks. Yours is cute too. I….I just am not used to talk, I don’t do it much.” Juliet started looking around at all the sights and took account of each thing she could see, even if just a building.
He could tell by how weird she made that sound that she was telling the truth.
“Thanks and I see…..” He turned down a corner, all there were was buildings and warehouses all over. People here and there walked by them and looked right at Juliet hoping her ears were fake but forgot about it once they passed her.
“Juliet, how did you get your ears?”
She waited a slight moment. “Your dad gave them to me.”
Geode stopped. Now this was getting tough, Geode remembered what happened in his house, why else would his father call those people to get Juliet and kill her?
“My…dad?”
“Yuka told me he did.” She kept talking and looked at him as she talked.
“Yuka…?” Geode looked back at her. “Listen we need to talk about this, how did my father do that to you?” He was getting a bit jumpy, it was all news to him.

“I think I can answer that….come.” Yuka said, she was standing in front of Geode. “Yuka?” Geode asked looking at her and she nodded and turned and started walking. “Hey..” He raced after her and caught up. Juliet smiled a bit, Yuka was like her mother, her idol, she adored her.
“You see Geode.” Yuka began, as she led them toward a nice brick red house. It looked and was very lavish. “Well off topic I only live here, so don’t be afraid of others that might be there.” She said mainly to Juliet who feared new people more then Geode did. Geode remained quiet the whole time.
Once inside, Geode and Juliet looked around, tan carpet floors and red rugs on the walls with little gold balls on them to give them a royal look and feeling. Her house looked pretty expensive, it was nice and big. There were two couches facing each other, both around the same size.
Geode walked to one and put Juliet down then moved to about the other end of the couch and sat down. Juliet sat down too, just a few feet from him.
“Would you like some tea?” Yuka asked putting up her coat, she looked over to see Geode nod and went to get some.

Yuka set the tea tray down, on it was a pot of tea and three small cups. Sugar cubes on one side next to some cream and some cakes at the other end.
Geode cautiously took the hot pot and poured some tea for them all, Juliet however didn’t take hers, she just looked around then at Geode then Yuka.
“Could you explain please?” He asked blowing the hot tea so it could be drinkable.
Yuka nodded, she held her tea then spoke. “Your father Geode, he’s not at all what you think. He is a scientist, he’s bee for a while, its something he loved doing. You know the reason why he doesn’t come home till late?” She looked at him and asked. Geode just stared with wide eyes, that’s how they are so rich, he does business outside a set of comic book stores.
“Because he’s…” Geode couldn’t finish, he didn’t know how to.
Yuka started to nod. “Because he’s doing experiments….and his most recent and worked on one…” Her eyes moved to Juliet and she pointed slightly. Geode looked over slowly, almost scared to see her, but he felt better when he did as she had her head down in shame, a sad expression on her face.
He looked at her as Yuka talked for a bit.
“Geode….she was once like you.” The flash back started in her head as she spoke.
“Just…like…?” Geode turned to Yuka, he had so much guilt in him. He was so blind…how…how could his father do this to such an innocent child? Turn them into a freak.
“Yes. You see, Your father, and some of our peers were trying to creative a super human, we needed test subjects.” She took a sip from tea as her throat became a bit dry. “Long story short, the adults would die and the children seemed to live, it did not kill but enhanced the child, as we were trying to do….or so we thought. Our only child subject died of a natural death.”
She paused and looked at him, amazement was all over Geode’s face.
“So, we asked your father, if your mother while she was pregnant with your sister if she would participate as well. She did, and so did a poor mother who needed the money to pay for her baby to live. That was Juliet’s mother.”

The flash back seemed to turn into a different one in her mind.
“Your mother died shortly after giving birth. Juliet’s mother lived. However, when Juliet’s mother was ready to give birth to her…..she was cut open at the stomach. We heard crying and removed Juliet from the womb. Her mother was dead within minutes.”
“We soon found out Juliet was a super human, but the wrong kind, she couldn’t control her powers, they just happened and as you saw with that guard back at your house, fear, mainly contributes to her powers. It was what made it possible for you to get away.”
“Wait..” Geode stopped her, he was having a hard time thinking of all this possible, he turned to Juliet and knew he had the evidence right there. Juliet looked up at him for moment then back down and her ears lowered too.
“What about her ears?”
“Mutation from the experiment. She’s 100 percent human Geode, just with a minor defect.”
Geode looked back at her and nodded. “Please go on.”
“Juliet has the power of blue fire and she can cut anything. Your father, the staff and I helped raise her, she was trouble but she was only a child. And that doll she carries with her, I gave it to her. I am like her mother Geode, she means the world to me. Your father wanted her dead because when she got free, he didn’t want you or anyone hurt.”
“She’s….not evil though.” Geode said, it took him a bit to get all this together in his mind for him to say it.
“I’ve been with her, so what its only been about a day. She is one of the sweetest girls I ever met…and I like her ears a lot, its different.” He smiled, Juliet did too even though her head was still down a bit.
Yuka nodded. “I like it too….but..” Her smiled faded. “He wants her dead, your father, he wants her gone…he did for a long time Geode and I fear he might actually have the weapons to take her down.”
“No he doesn’t.” Geode looked at Juliet, he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to him. “I know she hurt someone but wolves came after her, those people tried to shoot her! And what did she do? She was given something she never asked for and its not right! Especially not by my dad! He did this and he thinks killing her will fix it! It won’t!” Geode stood up straight but looking down at Yuka’s eyes, his had a burning flame in them.
“He won’t do anything else, to her or me or anyone!”
Geode finally got it now, he knew the fraud his father really was and now the game he played with Geode and Miranda for years is over, he knows the truth and now its time for his father to see what he’s done and stop for good. Before any beautiful life is lost.
